“We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Quinta das Figueiras. The rooms are spacious, the view from the terrace spectacular, and a swim in the pool in this magnificent scenery is just gorgeous. “The location of this property is very convenient, just two steps away from everything in Velas; well, the town is small. I was given a good-sized, easily accessible room with a private bathroom and absolutely all necessary amenities, all very nice and clean; the bed was especially comfortable. Good breakfast. “I barely leave comments for the hotels I stay at, yet this one deserves some extra publicity. The hotel and room themselves are really comfy, modern and fully equipped with anything you may need. The hosts are incredibly hospitable, helpful and friendly. They supported me a lot with trip planning and made the whole stay very pleasant and filled the place with homely atmosphere. I'm not even looking at other hotels when coming back to Sao Jorge!”
