“I booked a p5 studio apartment as a suprise for my boyfriends birthday. We are currently backpacking/travelling south east Asia and I thought it would be nice change from the usual hostels and guest houses. The apartment was absolutely amazing, it looked even better than the images I had seen previously! The view was stunning especially looking out from our private infinity pool! Throughout the time leading up to our stay here the staff especially Katie were extremely helpful in regards to helping arrange transport for us to get down to the apartments and helping us with any quieres we had. The outside living room has a TV and some DVDs, the mini bar has almost the same prices than in the stores, and there is a mobile phone you can use to call the anakhira taxi to drive you or pick you up anywhere in the island. It's central location means it's close to everything. Big luxurious room. Everything brandnew and in working order. Good airco. Only one (very small) flaw, about when the power switches off so does the fridge. The adress list with needfull things and the mobile phone you receive from hotel is perfect for getting everything you want to do set up quickly. Price vs quality is very good and the staff very friendly and helpful. My advice, rent a scooter at oli's explore koh tao and enjoy a very relaxing stay at woodlawn villa's.”

“It was our favourite location and hotel through our travels of Thailand. The hotel is new, rooms are beautiful as are bathrooms - very much a luxury! We stayed in the top sea view room which was beautiful. The owners are so helpful, took us to the pier, hired us one of their bikes . I also fell in love with their puppy jack, he was such good fun. The hotel is a little walk from town but we quite enjoyed that. Steps are also rather tough but again it's a good workout after all the Thai food. “Couldnt rate this hostel enough and would like to say a massive thank you to the staff here. Stayed in this hostel while Koh Tao had the awful weather and had to arrange to leave early. Was picked up during the night for our transfer and I stupidly left the hostel without my hand luggage bag. I contacted the staff through facebook messanger and was surprised they were able to help. The staff here paid with their own money to ship my bag out on one of the next ferries to Krabi and I was able to pick this up from the Lomprayah office. I was then able to transfer the money into one of the members of staffs bank account. I am so grateful they were able to help me in the way that they did as I thought my bag was a gonner! Amazing help. Thank you so much.”

They were also fantastic at helping us with last minute ferry tickets and even driving us down to purchase tickets for the next day just before the office closed. The villa was incredible and the views from the terrace and the rooftop will keep you occupied for hours, especially after sunset when the stars come out. Bedrooms sizes were very generous and the kitchen and mini bar were very well stocked with everything you would need. Great private pool as well and very private. Although a very short taxi ride from the main strip for partying, again Caroline and Francis were extremely helpful by providing a local taxi driver to take us each evening at a very reasonable price. Overall amazing villa and cannot wait to return. Thank you Caroline and Francis! :)”

Very kind warm and friendly, she made sure that we had everything we needed and she recommended a bunch of places for us to see. WOW, I got way more than I ever expected. This villa is fantastic. Well located, quiet but still central and 5 mins walking distance from main areas. Incredibly comfortable and so well equipped for a family vacation (or a group of friends). Most places on Koh Tao that offer kitchens are very basic, providing just a two burner gas top. This villa had everything we needed and more. Very large and spacious; lounge, full kitchen, two air con bedrooms, lovely bathroom, large private garden. Such amazing value for money. We even had a Karaoke night using the villa flat-screen with it's awesome wifi connection (wifi on Koh Tao is not the best, this place was above the norm). My family and I could not recommend it more. Best value for money I've seen.”

If you need something just ask and they are happy to help you (we asked for clean towels and more toilet paper anytime we needed it). Also they clean room once per day but tell them when you're going out and that they can clean the room or it might not happen. We liked their cat 'Mow' so big and friendly. We will come back here. Koh Tao is the best!”

The WiFi was a bit problematic, so we had to tell the staff that its not working, sometimes three times a day, after which I felt stupid (meaning I was apologising more than the staff, they always smiled and said they are sorry, and fixed it right away) there is a shop which belongs to the hotel and they have free beach towels which you can borrow. The beach is 10 min walk, as well as restaurants and bars. They also helped us with booking a trip around the island and a boat to Phuket. Again, I cannot say enough how nice people they are.
