The hotel, managed by a talented mother-and-son duo, is a testament to the mother's impeccable taste in decor. Every room is thoughtfully designed to capture the essence of a themed, historic home, complete with intricate details that transport you back in time. The comfort provided here is unmatched, especially considering the very reasonable price. The staff deserves special mention for their warm hospitality and exceptional service that goes beyond what one might expect. They truly make you feel like an honored guest in their home. One of the most enchanting aspects was the collection of coffee table books scattered throughout the hotel—beautifully curated selections on architecture, art, and travel that made me want to stay in rather than explore Brussels. Lounging by the fireplace, sipping their rich coffee, and flipping through these hand-picked books felt like living as a Victorian-era duchess, adding an unforgettable layer to the experience. If you’re seeking a stay that feels personal, warm, and steeped in history, I couldn’t recommend this gem enough.

The house is truly exceptional — a beautifully preserved Art Nouveau building full of character, atmosphere, and outstanding beauty. Its location is excellent: calm, charming, and well connected. Superb and the girl who was working in the breakfast room was hardworking and very pleasant.

it was very clean. they helped us with our luggage because we arrive before our check-in time. free coffee, water and apple sure is a very basic and easy move but was a big deal after 5-6 days of travelling :) hair dryer was not working and they just gave us a new one in like 5 secs. way to hotel is a bit quiet on the last about 300 meters but seems safe enough, not super close to the center but if you are okay with walking no problem.
