Breakfast not served in the property but it was not a problem at all since there are so many places just outside to eat. The staff were amazing and warm. They even offered a room after checkout to use the restroom.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. My spouse and I had a wonderful weekend here. The hotel is very close to all the key attractions in Brussels, so you can walk around and see a lot. The hotel itself is on a quiet street, and there are nice cafes nearby where you can have a snack or breakfast if you don't want to eat at the hotel. The hotel has a beautiful garden in the courtyard. The room was excellent, and we especially liked the bathtub (it was very comfortable). The hotel staff are very polite and attentive. We had a great time at this hotel.

The stay was fantastic. 1. From the doorman, to the receptionists to the barman, they all provided exceptional hospitality. They were all friendly, compassionate and showed great initiative to make our stay more comfortable 2. The shower and the bed were so comfortable. If we hadn’t had other commitments we would have happily stayed in our room the whole time. 3. The attention to detail was the cherry on top. The hotel is beautiful, stylish and filled with clever touches that should be commended. This hotel will always be at the top of our list now when we visit Brussels, but with only a limited amount of rooms - I fear we will either need to book well in advance or hope we strike gold again.

FAQs about hotels in Brussels

Chocolate Capital of Europe

Brussels is well-known as the headquarters of many European institutions and is often called the capital of Europe. However, Belgian waffles, beer and chocolate are just a few of the city’s best-known delicacies that can rival its political reputation.

French and Dutch are city’s two official languages so all streets and landmarks have two different names: don’t be surprised when you look for Grand Place and end up on Grote Markt!

Don’t miss the famous bronze statue aptly named Manneken Pis or the futuristic Atomium, a truly unique architectural creation. Wandering through side streets to discover small bookshops, romantic cafés and ethnic restaurants reveals Brussel's charm.

Brussels is a real melting pot of Europe, filled with great museums and art from Memling, Bosch or Rubens, historic breweries and great concert halls. Shopping addicts can visit the world’s first shopping mall, the Saint Hubert Gallery, opened here in 1847.

If you’re arriving at Brussels Airport or South Charleroi Airport, all major attractions are just a short train or bus ride away. Whether you’re looking for a design hotel, a comfortable apartment or a friendly B&B, Booking.com has something perfect for your Brussels trip.

Brussels is a smaller version of Paris, IMHO. It's personable, easy to walk and find places to eat and coffee, safe, lots of green park space and not overdone grandeur. A photographer's dream for city and architectural.

Poor first impression on arrival at Bruxelles Midi - many rough sleepers around the tram stops, and horrid smells of urine and weed. Nevertheless we saw some beautiful things (Grote Markt and several museums). We especially enjoyed walking around the elegant suburbs dotted with Art Nouveau houses, ending up at the excellent Victor Horta House & Museum. The principal art gallery was very special. It would have been good if at least some works from the closed Fin-de-Siecle Museum were on show at an alternative location during their refurbishment (The Museum van de Bergh in Antwerp managed to do just this.)

Choco-Story is excellent and offers audio in multiple languages. World of Beer—aside from its spectacular terrace—could learn a thing or two from Choco-Story. I found the city a bit dirty, with trash on the streets. The Brussels Card was a disappointment; few places could provide any explanation (even where it was accepted), and the guidebook contained outdated information, leading us to locations that were no longer included.

The Atomium was cool; that's fully approved of.

The Atomium was cool; that's fully approved of. The city itself, however, suffers from a lack of consistent governance and therefore spotty public services. Everything is a bit run down and there's a severe "wrong side of the tracks" effect. I suspect that things that are self-funded, like the tourist spots, are alright. Anything that isn't greatly suffers.

I really like the city center, it was very lively. The mode of transportation is very easy. What I don’t like is that Belgium is a very expensive country to visit. I live in Italy and have traveled to other places in europe, but I was shocked about the prices of everything here. If you want to visit this city, I recommend to plan ahead and save a lot!

Belgium, my first love and will always be.

Belgium, my first love and will always be. Such a lovely country and people who are friendly with a great intergration of immigrants who speak the language fluently (French and Flemish) work hard in the hospitality business alongside the natives and who are part of an integrated culture that is welcoming and safe. Brussells was a hive of activity due to the bi-annual flower carpet at Grand Places, which was beautiful as usual. So much to do and see and so easy to get around the city with affordable public transport that is reliable and frequent.

The location is great. the hotel is less than 5 minutes walk from the Grand Place - the center of historic Brussels. There is a very close metro/tram station. Around the hotel there are plenty of restaurants and pubs serving good Belgian beer. The room has a well equipped kitchenette. In addition there is a free coffee/tea machine for guests in the lobby.

Very clean hotel with excellent rooms and a lovely, cozy lobby. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The location is great — although the street itself doesn’t look particularly appealing, you are just a 3-minute walk from the city center. Overall, a very pleasant place to stay in Brussels.
