Brussels is well-known as the headquarters of many European institutions and is often called the capital of Europe. However, Belgian waffles, beer and chocolate are just a few of the city’s best-known delicacies that can rival its political reputation.
French and Dutch are city’s two official languages so all streets and landmarks have two different names: don’t be surprised when you look for Grand Place and end up on Grote Markt!
Don’t miss the famous bronze statue aptly named Manneken Pis or the futuristic Atomium, a truly unique architectural creation. Wandering through side streets to discover small bookshops, romantic cafés and ethnic restaurants reveals Brussel's charm.
Brussels is a real melting pot of Europe, filled with great museums and art from Memling, Bosch or Rubens, historic breweries and great concert halls. Shopping addicts can visit the world’s first shopping mall, the Saint Hubert Gallery, opened here in 1847.
If you’re arriving at Brussels Airport or South Charleroi Airport, all major attractions are just a short train or bus ride away. Whether you’re looking for a design hotel, a comfortable apartment or a friendly B&B, Booking.com has something perfect for your Brussels trip.

I don't like the city itself, except for the area I chose to stay in (Louise/Ixelles). It's very pleasant, with nice buildings, plenty of good restaurants around, and a great park not too far. The area itself is not very touristy, but there is a metro that can get you to touristic attractions, if that's what you're there for.

Brussels has both historical and trendy vibes.
Brussels has both historical and trendy vibes. Every building has an interesting story to tell. Architectural marvels abound, like most European cities.
It is also a great city to make a base and visit the towns around, like Ghent, Bruges, Antwerp and more.
I visited a traditional brewery and found that the craft beers are amazing everywhere. I specially enjoyed the evening vibe and beer sampling at the Delirium Village. Highly recommend to everyone as a must visit.

I spent four days in Brussels and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. The city's rich history, beautiful architecture, and vibrant atmosphere made for an unforgettable experience. Highlights included visiting the Grand Place, exploring the charming streets, and indulging in the delicious Belgian chocolates and waffles. While some areas can be a bit pricey, the overall experience was well worth it. I highly recommend Brussels to other travelers!
Stay tuned for more photos and detailed experiences, which I will be publishing soon on my blog, thesimpletravel.com

Brussels is a vibrant city with many neighbourhoods and quarters with their own personality. you will find nice bars and restaurants almost everywhere within a few blocks. Enjoy the diversity (and don't stumble over the details) !
The staff is very kind and efficient (especially Hilla). The studios are really comfy. The location is perfect, next to the Metro M1 which leads you to the city center and the EU quarter in less than 15mn. The neighborhood is great. I had a long stay last year and Iwas very pleased with Roxi Residence, since then I can't think of any other Hotel when someone asks a recommendation for a stay in Brussels.
The President Brussels Hotel is situated close to the North Station and cca. 15 minute walk from city center of Brussels. The room is clean and comfortable, the breakfast is fair. Fitness room is in the building. Fridge and water heater are in the room. The staff is friendly and professional. The price is acceptable considering the neighboring hotels.
Booked the hotel on my way to the airport. Just for one night stay.
Very confy beds, very friendly reception and excellent location almost next to the train station and the Grand Place.
Pleasantly surprised.
Will probably return to actually visit Brussels centre.
Easily one of the best hotels I have stayed in Europe. The location is amazing - next to the Brussels central station and a walking distance from Grand Place. If you take any day trips to Brugge / Ghent etc - most of the tours start from the hotel itself !
