Brussels is well-known as the headquarters of many European institutions and is often called the capital of Europe. However, Belgian waffles, beer and chocolate are just a few of the city’s best-known delicacies that can rival its political reputation.
French and Dutch are city’s two official languages so all streets and landmarks have two different names: don’t be surprised when you look for Grand Place and end up on Grote Markt!
Don’t miss the famous bronze statue aptly named Manneken Pis or the futuristic Atomium, a truly unique architectural creation. Wandering through side streets to discover small bookshops, romantic cafés and ethnic restaurants reveals Brussel's charm.
Brussels is a real melting pot of Europe, filled with great museums and art from Memling, Bosch or Rubens, historic breweries and great concert halls. Shopping addicts can visit the world’s first shopping mall, the Saint Hubert Gallery, opened here in 1847.
If you’re arriving at Brussels Airport or South Charleroi Airport, all major attractions are just a short train or bus ride away. Whether you’re looking for a design hotel, a comfortable apartment or a friendly B&B, Booking.com has something perfect for your Brussels trip.

Brussels has two faces, nice areas border on depressing areas. Something many, if not most, large cities have but rarely with such impact as Brussels. It is also remarkable that native Belgians are a minority in this city. My husband has visited and even worked in Brussels since his youth. The days of elegant people in classy clothing are gone. The biggest changes have happened over the last twenty years or so, he tells me. During our recent trip we never had a bad experience of felt threatened in any way but to us Brussels is a place to go for business and not for fun or an elegant night life.

Loved the old buildings, the multitude of great Belgian beers, I never had the same beer twice! Fmchocolates. Moules frites, waffles, hot chocolate, museums, art galleries, the Atomium. However, I wish the weather could have been better. Misty rain, grey clouded skies for almost all of my stay here. Maybe if I come back another time of year it might be better?

Visit Bourse and Grande Place (Bourse metro station) right in the centre of Brussels. Grande Place is the historic old town square and stages regular events. The Bourse, based around the old stock exchange building, is a vibrant, pedestrianised (apart from endless bicycles) area full of excellent bars and restaurants as well as many other fascinating shops.

I visited Brussels for only a day.
I visited Brussels for only a day. So, I could not explore much about the city other than the grand place and other nearby places. The grandeur of the Grand Place, with its stunning architecture and intricate facades, is a sight to behold. Strolling through the streets, I encountered vibrant shops, art nouveau buildings, and inviting cafés that serve some of the best chocolate and waffles in the world.

The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The room was big and very clean, which I appreciate in any hotel. The location is good too, close to the EU offices (with museums and exhibits) and the main bus line which takes you straight into the city center - perfect for a tourist. And the prices was very good compared to other Brussels hotels. The room had a nice smart TV for watching YouTube and a good Wi-Fi connection. Came with a water heater and tea as well. The beds were crazy comfy and the heating was good too.
I went to Brussels to celebrate the new year. The staff was really friendly and respectful. A very polite guy at the reception let us pray (we're Muslims) at the hotel before our check-in. He even let us keep our bags there. I'd like to thank him. I enjoyed playing card games with my friends in the breakfast room. Our room was cozy and comfortable. The location of the hotel is right in the center and near all touristic places, shopping stores, and guided tours.
i.e. 4 min from The Grand Place.
The place was very close to the city center and train station. The room was clean and well-designed. The hotel had one of the best breakfasts by European standards. I'd like to specially mention Lorena and Andrea, they helped out with every issue and were very friendly. They were efficiently talking in English and Spanish aside from French which is rare in most parts of Belgium. If I ever visit Brussels again I'll definitely will be staying here.
The hotel is located in the heart of the city center and very close to Brussels Central train station (5 min walk). Personnel was friendly and helpful, providing information about city sightseeing and covid testing (we needed to travel back in GR). Room was cozy, comfortable and had great view in the Agoraplein park which was lovely. Overall it was a great experience!
Small hotel for a reasonable price in Brussels. The location was perfect for my needs - walking distance from the Gare du Midi and to the place I needed to visit. The city center and old town also can be reached by foot.
There is a refrigerator and a tea/ coffee in the room.
Nice and kind staff.
