A Gem of Fashion
As the world’s largest diamond-cutting city, Antwerp (Anvers in French) is naturally affluent. It comes as no surprise then that fashion is also of utmost importance, so the shopping here is excellent. It may not be the cheapest place, but the quality certainly matches the price.
Another big business in Antwerp is the port, one of Europe’s largest. Take a cruise around to admire its scale. The Scheldt River leads from the port into the city, and on its banks are a handful of interesting museums and Het Steen, a medieval castle built to protect the city against Viking invasions.
A few streets back is the Grote Markt, a beautiful square flanked by the grand town hall and 16th-century guildhouses – a typically Belgian scene. Behind this is UNESCO World Heritage-listed Antwerp Cathedral, whose asymmetrical towers look down over Groenplaats, a tranquil square filled with pavement cafes. Belgian beer is legendary and the local brew is De Koninck, which packs quite a punch.
In the south of the city is the most unusual sight – Wilrijk’s huge Jain Temple, one of the largest outside India. A little further east is Antwerp Airport, efficiently connected by public transport to the Antwerp hotels, guest houses and apartments that are available on Booking.com.

So easy to get to on the Eurostar and the station is beautiful. Everyone was so friendly and of course spoke perfect English. Loads of great places to eat, lots to see and the attractions were not expensive. On the last night we went to Fiera, absolutely stunning building which has been renovated, quite expensive but great for a special occasion. Just round the corner from Hotel Franq

We had a fantastic dinner at Nathan. Excellent art galleries and museums including the smaller ones (Rockox-Snijders and Mayer van den Bergh). A shame so many things are closed for renovation at the same time.

Antwerpen Belgium is a big city. Rich in culture and full with friendly warm people . You have almost all nationalities everywhere you go in Antwerpen. Antwerpen is really accommodating. It a place you learn quickly.
Lots and lots of places to eat and drink and have fun.

My husband and I loved Antwerp.
My husband and I loved Antwerp. We came with a friend and booked 2 rooms at Hilton for 2 nights. Everything was within walking distance that we were planning on seeing. The area was so clean and welcoming. This was our favorite place out of Hamburg, Amsterdam, and Paris.

Antwerpen has always been our favorite weekend getaway. A lot of cheap hotels and restaurants. Perfect for overnight and cinema. There are weekend markets and good restaurants. There are cinemas and theaters for musical. I love the place and its a bus away from my residence.

The hotel is very clean, the staff is very nice! They helped us with an early check in and they were so nice and helpful with everything. The rooms are very comfortable and the price is really good for Antwerpen. It's super close to the train station and the street is really peaceful.
Keep in mind that the hotel has all the facilities, but for some of them you must ask at the reception. For example if you need a hair dryer or an iron. You don't pay extra for them.

The location is great! We visited Antwerp as a group of four and really loved how close the hotel was to everything, just a 2 min walk to the main shopping street, 1 minute to the train station, and there’s a bus stop literally right outside the entrance.
We also really liked the keyless entry system! You get a code to access both the building and the room, which was really convenient since no one had to worry about losing a card or key.

The breakfast was great with a hige speclection, staff were lovely.
Location was great with a link-bridge to Berchem station, 4 minutes to Antwerp city centre and 45 minutes to the centre of Brussels. Tram stop nearby too.
Quite new hotel rooms were thoughtfully designed with a large picture window and window seat.
Aircon worked well in 30c heat.
Easy accessed from the main motorway.
