Beginning with the checkin, I was more than warmly welcomed with a complimentary cold beer & showed to my room. The house itself it stunning, it has an beautiful old vibe, but is cleaner than most 5 star hotels you’ll find in Europe. The area around feels very safe & has lots of resteraunt and bars, while still being super quiet during night. The breakfast is outstanding as well, just as the overall hospitality. I can warmly recommend everyone to stay here! Thanks a lot for everything :)

Bed was comfy, location very good at a 10 min walk to the train station, and about same distance to the city centre. Good breakfast with possibility to also make yourself a lunch bag if needed. Luxury hotel situated a short walk from the Grote Markt and the cathedral. Staff were just exceptional, super helpful, willing to assist and provided great local tips. The whole establishment is tastefully fitted out , and super comfortable. Beds and pillows simply superb. True Value for the quality ( especially compared to Amsterdam and Brussels ) Simply, one of the most welcoming places I’ve ever stayed

The hotel is beautifully designed, and it smells amazing as soon as you walk through the door! The whole hotel has a relaxed vibe and every detail is well considered. The staff are so friendly and accommodating they really enhanced the whole experience. We used the spa which was a highlight of our stay, really relaxing and again a beautiful space. So nice we decided to book and stay an extra night!

Its old and it has fun theme from the brewery. And it was 33 degrees outside and we could control the air conditioning to our temp. The shower was big and clean. The bed was clean. The electric was clean and we had a lot of caffe and cream in our room. And the staff was amazing and so polite and always there if you needed some one

Nice cozy place, I booked it with only a day anticipation and still everything went smoothly. The host was really nice and gave me some instruction on where to find a restaurant. Unfortunately I had to leave quite early in the morning so I miss breakfast :(

Beautiful property in nature. During the two days we stayed, there were always some events happening at the hotel, very interesting. The rooms are a bit older but very comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic in the old castle.

So easy to get to on the Eurostar and the station is...
So easy to get to on the Eurostar and the station is beautiful. Everyone was so friendly and of course spoke perfect English. Loads of great places to eat, lots to see and the attractions were not expensive. On the last night we went to Fiera, absolutely stunning building which has been renovated, quite expensive but great for a special occasion. Just round the corner from Hotel Franq

A nice, small place next to Brussels. I enjoyed walking around the canals, the park near city center, and exploring the old town a bit. Old town itself looks interesting, it was bit too hot at that weekend to explore more during this short stay. I really like the public transport, it's well organized and is affordable, easily accessible.

Brasschaat has great dog walking places which is convenient since we always travel with our dog, it has a classy residential hub, calm and peaceful, and it is still near to the city of Antwerp, making it easy to visit the old city or have business events.

Lier is a delightful town surrounded by a city wall which you can walk around. It has a rich history and many buildings of interest. There is a regular train service into Antwerp for those who want more hustle and bustle.

Stayed for a nearby football tournament. Friendly, immaculate town with a really nice hotel in which we stayed. A couple of good coffee houses and a good supermarket.
I'm sure there's more to it, but we were there for the football.

Nice Belgian small town, with a cozy square, where there are lots of bars and terraces, and a beautiful church. The church is free to enter, a bonus. In addition, one can find good shops in the streets around the town square.

The town was quaint.
The town was quaint. The brick cathedral was well worth a visit. (1560 the tallest). I think anyone interested in architecture would want to see the residences in the area. The saying that "Belgium's were born with a brick in their stomach" is evident.
Great bike paths are everywhere and are flat.

Geel has a rich and varied history.
Geel has a rich and varied history. There was fierce World War Two fighting here a prelude to the massive Airborne operation, the subject of the film "A Bridge too Far". On the other hand the town pioneered the care of the mentally ill in the community as opposed to institutions about 150 years ago.
Also has great restaurents around the town square.

We had a fantastic dinner at Nathan.
We had a fantastic dinner at Nathan. Excellent art galleries and museums including the smaller ones (Rockox-Snijders and Mayer van den Bergh). A shame so many things are closed for renovation at the same time.

There are lots of interesting old buildings.
There are lots of interesting old buildings. The Tourist Office provides an audio guide to a walk around the town. Hof van Busleyden is definitely worth a visit. Het Anker brewery is situated on the edge of the old town near the Groot Begijnhof and has an excellent restaurant. Listen out for the Beiaard/carillon and see how many tunes you recognise.
