Location was perfect. A quick tram ride to the Christmas markets and back right at the door. Staff advised perfectly the transport and the local boulangeries which we love. The reception area has a good seating area to enjoy a wine or coffee at any time.

The Hotel Alexander is located right at the Messe Basel fairgrounds and the Congress Centre, a 7-minute ride from the centre of Basel. The tram stop is right outside. Free Wi-Fi is available.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Alexander. The check-in process was quick and smooth, and we were provided with a BaselCard upon arrival, which was very convenient. The room was spacious, clean, and cozy, and the shower was large and comfortable. The location is also very convenient, with public transport nearby, making it easy to get around the city. Overall, a very pleasant experience, we would be happy to stay here again.
