The location is good, close to the old town and the University of Basel. We can see the old town gate Spalentor outside the room window. It's easy to walk to the main attractions in the old town or take the tram. The reception staff are very welcoming and the hotel provides free water and fruit at the counter, as well as luggage storage services. The hotel takes its guests very seriously. The room was bright, clean, quiet and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious, we were very satisfied.

It is a fabulous place to stay for both work and even more for a great vacation. The location is superb, you can jump on a train after a 10 min walk and go to Switzerland or further in Germany. Fantastic breakfast buffet as well. We visited for the second time and it has proven that this is a great choice.

Have stayed here many time and love all the Homely Apartments - my favourite is the bigger one, but all are super comfortable, well decorated, luxurious and quiet. Easy in all respects, location, parking, access, check in and out. Host is very responsive for anything!
