I usually stay at a hostel when I'm in Basel, but this time I discovered this apartment, which was the perfect alternative – and even better! It is really well equipped: there's even portable Wi-Fi, a fridge, and a few snacks. I really appreciated its location near the Rhine River and close to the city center. The apartment included a kitchen, laundry facilities and was light filled. It was on the 6th floor with an outdoor terrace. It had a large lift and it was in a secure building. The street had lots of restaurants, clothing shops and close to the trams. The location was central and it was easy to walk to places or take a tram. The host was very helpful and could be contacted if you needed any assistance. We would definitely stay there again.

The bed was cozy, the room was the perfect size and a great temperature. The bathroom met all my needs. The safe was big and I made good use if the iron and hair dryer. The breakfast was the best part. I will forever return to this hotel in Basel for all my business trips mainly because of the breakfast. The staff was helpful and kind too.
