Basic breakfast with bread, cheese, jam (homemade) and orange juice was enough to get the day off to a good start. Both tea and coffee was available with pods. Little garden area to sit in for breakfast and evening drink was ideal. Location literally next to the railway station was ideal giving easy access to both Thun and Bern without need of the car. Hosts couldn't have been more helpful or friendly, giving advice on what to see in the area.

It was a pleasure to stay at the Bauernhof. The house was very cozy and well organised. The beds were very comfortable and it was obvious that somebody thought about every detail. The location of a hotel is great but most of all it is so nicely eqiped, lively and a combination of old and new that it is really something special. I even felt no need to add a bucket of freshly picked roses in a room as I usually do :) Pefect, would stay again and again and again (and the cleaning lady Anita even alowed me to briefly look how some other rooms are eqiped and designed, they all are great - and Anita was so kind and helpful). Plus: the breakfast with all the variety of vegetarian and vegan food, fresh fruit, small portions of already made muesli and humus ... very nice!

A recently renovated guest house in Bern and within 700 metres of Bärengraben, artroom features free bikes, comfortable allergy-free rooms and free WiFi.

Excellent accommodation. Location is great, walking distance to the city center and Paul Klee Zentrum. Very nice and green area, safe, calm and silent. There is also a great public transport, but it is not far from the center to walk through amazing paths with the best views of Bern. The house is very beautiful with wonderful big garden, the host is an artist so you can see lot of art. It is quiet and relaxing. Very clean, the whole building, bathroom and room were perfectly clean, ( bathroom is modern like recently made ), el. kettel and coffee machine with coffee capsule and tee in the room, bed is comfortable, high speed internet, hot water, heating in winter. There are 3 rooms and shared bathroom, but there is complete privacy. The host is very friendly, warm welcoming, kind and helpful for tourist info. It was a wonderful experience to stay in this house, I really recommend.

Everything was perfect. Clean, spacious, quiet, well equipped, easy access and flexible check-in /out time when feasible. Location was perfect for us as we were visiting our daughter who stays at nearby student residence , but it was also very convenient for Bern center: the station is 5 minutes away by foot and you get to Bern main station, which is in the very center of the city, within minutes (trains are very frequent). Transport around Bern is cost free for guests during the complete stay , using the Bern app and a code for every guest which you get from the appartment owner.

We were the first guests at this property, and everything was absolutely perfect. The house was spotless, beautifully furnished, and fully equipped. The peaceful location offered stunning views of the valley below, with horses and cows grazing nearby—truly a Swiss countryside dream.
