Everything was great. Reception, communication with them before and upon arrival. Room was perfect. The exhibition (Formel 1) and Aquarium excellent, great even for kids. Breakfast great, restaurant as well, evening bar and terrace too. Excellent service. Very good place in the heart of Switzerland, close to Jura, Bern, not far from A1 highway. Many opportunities to discover sourroundindg on a bike. Simply, exceptional !!

We loved absolutely everything about our stay here and have only great things to say. Richard and Tania are so incredibly warm and welcoming, we felt just like we were guests in their home. Our room was clean and cozy with a comfortable bed and a stunning view of the lake and mountains from our balcony, and everything was decorated with a personal touch. The breakfast service was such a lovely way to start our day as well, with delicious fresh brewed coffee and a beautiful spread including custom prepared eggs. The location is perfect because it is so peaceful on Brienz and just a quick 5min drive into Interlaken for the fun of the city. This is also makes a great home-base for day trips in the surrounding areas. They provide good information on popular hikes and activities nearby and were so kind to help out with dinner recommendations and provide us with a travel pass for the area. This was truly the best experience and we can not wait to come back!

The facilities are great, comfortable beds, lovely breakfast, very friendly staff. We had a front facing room with a balcony for the first 3 days which was wonderful. We decided to stay an extra three nights and the reception staff managed to give us a side facing room which also had a balcony! We were thrilled....would definitely stay again. The hotel was nice and cosy, but the most outstanding part was the view! The room was spacious, clean and with all the necessary amenities. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were very kind and welcoming. The bus stop is located literally in front of the hotel, so it was very convenient to reach it after a long travel day.

Great city! Very clean streets and pavements.

Great city! Very clean streets and pavements. Easy way to get to every place in town. Vast network of city bikes parking areas let you move from one place to another quickly and without a problem. Good restaurants and coffee shops. I had not much time to enjoy and see many popular places but definitely coming to Bern again, not for business reasons but to simply enjoy it.

Grindelwald is absolutely amazing and worth visiting. It is a highly accessible Swiss Alpine destination renowned for its breathtaking Eiger North Face views and year-round adventure activities. Grindelwald is located in the Jungfrau region. Its proximity to the glaciers and the varied excursions and experiences available all make Grindelwald a top travel destination. Grindelwald serves as a top hub for skiing in winter and hiking, zip-lining, and mountain carting and hiking (again 😊) in summer. There are many bars, cafes, restaurants there, including two Michelin stars restaurants.

Nice chocolate box type of Swiss town. Very pretty and quite small. Great for looking in posh shop windows at stuff you can't afford. Nice station right next to bus stand ensuring easy connections.

It is conveneient location if you want to explore Jungfrau.

It is conveneient location if you want to explore Jungfrau. The train from Interlaken goes directly to Wengen. The train can take you to Lauterbrunnen (to get to Murren) or to Kleine Scheidegg to get to Jungfrau Joch or to Grindelwald (where Grindelwald First is located). The cable car in Wengen can also take you directly up to Männlichen where the ski fields are. You are also able to get to Grindelwald this way. There are less transfers if you are based in Wengen if you want to go to the different areas.

This is my 3rd trip to Adelboden, We, as a family, really enjoy the Trotti bikes and the natural beauty of this region. Food is great. We had a car to get around hence it was easy. It is a must-travel place :-)

Lauterbrunnen is a place for those who love being outdoors, with a nice long trail. Though it can get busy, it’s still far from a crowd..and no noise. Just happy outdoorsy people. From most hotels/chalets you’ll find restaurants and food trucks along the way. If you’re planning a longer hike, take reusable water bottles and some snacks. For coffee: Cycling Bean Coffee Bike For a sweet tooth: Waffeln Donuts Restaurants: Dined at Hotel Silberhorn (reservations are HIGHLY recommended) The gift shops had the right souvenirs to bring home. Lauterbrunnen was so charming—I loved every moment. And the locals were so nice to me :)

Not worth the money to book accommodation for even a one...

Not worth the money to book accommodation for even a one night stay. Only cheap & tacky shops, lacks character & charm - very small (but there are so many lovely quaint towns in Switzerland!), & forgettable. Was recommended an Indian restaurant by a local - & that too was lousy :(

Thun is a nice city.

Thun is a nice city. Very easy to walk around and small shops that are nice. We were there in December which was chilly and blue/grey, but the Christmas market was cheerful and bright. We took day trips to Bern, Speiz, Schilthorn, and Interlaken and always appreciated coming back to this quieter town. In the summer it would be interesting to enjoy the lake and all the activities offered.

We have been going to Lenk for many years and it is one of our favourite Swiss villages. Off the main tourist track but easy to get around by public transport, as we did this time. Good choice of local bus routes to scenic locations nearby, even in late October, but make sure you have the local Tourist Card as buses are terribly expensive without. Lots of walking options, too. Local supermarket has everything and cafes very nice indeed - and open till late. Not many evening meal options in late October - Hotel Kreuz was fine though.
