The hotel was beautifully designed and spotlessly clean. The size of the room is huge, compared to European standards. The lady at the front desk is extremely kind and helpful. The location is good, in a lush green and quite neighbourhood but also very close to the metro station.

First time my wife and I booket an appartment instead of a hotel. We were positively surprised by what we got for the money. Cute little appartment in tip top condition. There was everything we needed and it was great that our 2 dogs were welcome. A short walk away there was a nice restaurant with good good. Best recommendations from here.

The apartment is super clean, all what you need as a family is provided (kooking wears, washing machine dryer....). The landlord is such a nice and cooperative person, he brought some toys and bikes for my kids to enjoy the stay. I can only recommend it and give 10/10 and indeed I will book again for my next visit to Essen.

Access was easy with a key safe outside where the code was sent on the day. This is a great location for Messe Essen, includes a 10-15 walk through the Gruga Park to get there and back :-) Very well equipped kitchen. Lovely roof terrace!

Really great location - in a quiet area but within 5-6 minutes of a supermarket and easy distance to multiple bigger cities. The driveway parking directly outside the house was very convenient. Inside the apartment was spacious, clean and modern. Despite being a studio apartment it felt like having 4 distinct areas for sleeping, eating, cooking and lounging. The bed was comfortable. Kitchen had all the appliances and utensils needed. Having a microwave and a freezer was really handy. Bathroom was big and a nice shower. We were so grateful to have the great air conditioning during the heatwave.

A recently renovated property, Pension Zollverein is set in Essen near Red Dot Design Museum, Zeche Zollverein and Ruhr Museum.
