It was so near the train station , so getting there even if it was late was so safe.

Very new property, bright & clean, friendly staff. Room on the small side, no fridge but does have a small safety deposit box, comfortable bed & and very nice shower room (big walk in shower, no bath).
Quiet at night so we slept well. Breakfast was fairly expensive (16,- euro pp) but good quality and served until 11 so you could sleep in, which was nice after a late night. Also nice was that there’s 24h staffing so we were able to get a candy bar and a drink when we came back at 1.30 am after seeing a concert at the Veltins Arena.
Very weird though to charge guests extra to be able to park on site. We parked for free on the gravel pitch next to the hotel’s private parking which was ok but would have been problematic with bad weather as it’s very uneven and would get very muddy.
The hotel is located on an industrial estate and next to a busy road so it’s not the prettiest location but for a short trip I guess that’s not too important.
