I DID NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL AND I HAVE SUBITTED A COMPLAINT AND REQUESTED FULL REFUND. THE ROOM WAS NOT AVAILABLE AND I WAS ASKED TO WALK TO ANOTHER LOCATION. WALKED FOR 40 MINUTES WITH MY HEAVY LUGGAGE AND AT THE NEW LOCATION TOO AFTER ONE HOUR NO ONE WOULD OPEN. WHENI EVENT INSIDE IT WAS A COMPLETE MESS. SEE PHOTOS. THE ROOM WAS SMELLING IT HAD A WASHING MACHINE INSIDE THE ROOM THE WASHROOM WAS DIRTY. COMPLETE SCAM.

Great location for access to the main transport terminal (HBF) for both transport and shopping was very convenient. No need for a taxi on arrival or departure, just a short walk. Whilst it is on a busy road, traffic slows to a very low level in the evening and we did not lose any sleep overnight from it. The host was the most attentive to ensuring the quality of our stay so far in our nearly 3 months travelling and gave a great rundown on the property and immediate location on arrival. Size and fit out were fantastic making this a good value and comfortable property to stay at, which we would use again when in Essen.
