The apartment and location which is in the centre of Leipzig were excellent. We had a corner room with great views over the square. Comfortable bed, excellent breakfast provided with a delivery of fresh bread at 7am in the morning to compliment the food in the refrigerator. Underground car park opposite the appartment

The apartment was spanking new, beautifully designed with all furniture AND appliances straight out of communist DDR (the more well off part of the society). The queen size bed was equipped with top notch spring mattress and very soft sheets. Large department store few blocks away.

I was in Leipzig for work and was looking for a hotel close to the railway station and the university. Premier Inn was just that. It is literally 5 minutes from the railway station, in the very centre of the town, in the walking distance to all the sights, museums - and, yes, the university. It is a standard Premier Inn. It has 7 floors, my room was on the highest one, which I really liked. The rooms are simple but cosy. I appreciated there was a kettle to make tea/coffee. Room service is upon request and I did not need it during my short stay. Wifi worked very well. I did not have breakfast at the hotel but it is served in the restaurant on the ground floor from 6.30 or 7.00, for 17 Euro (if I remember correctly what I was told). There are many shops and restaurants around the hotel, including those in the railway station (there is a mall there). Overall, I was satisfied with this hotel and would not hesitate to choose it again if/when back to Leipzig.
