Easy access back into the building late at night. And then a delicious breakfast prepared by our hosts in the morning to boot. We would absolutely book the Marsden again for a future Blackpool visit. We are a family who enjoys trying out hotels. We went to three hotels in 1.5 weeks in Antalya. This is our first time trying a family owned and run hotel. We actually felt like family. The place is cosy. Fiona and her family were super helpful, sweet and willing to lend a hand. She told us all about the tram system and how to get a family ticket. It might seem easy but the last time I came here was as a kid. The room had bunk beds for the kids which they loved. The sea view was amazing. The breakfast was nice and the coffee was really good. The location is superb. You can just cross the street and reach the sea and the tram station plus a short walk can get you in the middle of all the action. We loved it and it’s a must to try. We are definitely coming back.

Das Scala Hotel ist ein schönes Art-Deco-Gebäude in South Beach, Blackpool. Geschmackvoll restauriert im Stil der 1920er Jahre. Die Familiäre Umgebung, es war so herzlich und Persönlich. Unbeschreiblich. Alles war sauber, sehr gutes Frühstück. Das Bett war bequem und die Tram zur Pier ist in 5 Min erreichbar. Nettes Ambiente in Bar und Restaurant.

From where do I start? From the minute we set foot in this cosy, beautiful and warm hotel we were welcomed with lovely smiles and happy faces! The stay was awesome in more ways than one but what truly surprised us was the huge goodie bag full of fruit, drinks, sweets that they gave us since we were going to miss our breakfast due to an early flight. They literally thought of every little detail like including 2 teaspoons so that we could eat the yogurts! We were absolutely blown away by this kind gesture. Truly a one of a kind hotel!
