Hotels in Nocelle, Positano

Giuseppe, his family, and the entire Arcu Positano team gave us the best stay in Positano and Nocelle. They truly went above and beyond with their hospitality, welcoming us to their hotels and making our stay better than we could have imagined. Giuseppe and his family are truly kind people who look after you. Booking accomodation half way across the world can be nerve racking and uncertain, but Giuseppe and his team communicated perfectly and did everything they could to make our stay as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. Arcu Positano gave us the relaxing, peaceful, and authentic Italian experience we were after, along with some of the best views of the water and mountainside. The ammenities are first class, with an amazing jacuzzi overlooking the water, sun beds, washing machine (you don’t realise how much you need one until you’re in Europe), kitchen, fridge, and spacious bedroom & bathroom. Easily a 10/10 review and I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Italy. It is the best accomodation and service we have had on any holiday we have been on.

The photos do not do this apartment justice, it is even better in person! The views are stunning with two balconies and sun loungers. We didn’t realise the apartment was outside of Positano when we booked but we ended up being so happy with the beautiful, sleepy village of Nocelle. It is just gorgeous, so relaxed and quiet with a few AMAZING restaurants. We loved the apartment so much, we decided to stay in on our first night and have dinner on the deck. If you’re up early you may even see the donkeys (i believe they’re used to deliver mail?). The host, Veronica, is so lovely. She was very helpful and met us at the bus stop to show us to the apartment. She was excellent at communication and was happy to give us lots of good recommendations. The views from Nocelle are stunning, looking down on Positano and the boats with the mountains behind you. I will definitely be opting to stay here again if I ever return. Navigating the public transport is easy, with the centre of Positano and Nocelle being the first/last stops and the buses come every hour.

Our stay at Villa Antica Macina was one of the most unique and memorable experiences of our entire Italy trip. This is not a hotel experience - this is a true Italian home experience in the best possible way. Staying there felt almost surreal, like living above the clouds surrounded by nature, birds singing, and breathtaking Amalfi Coast views. One of my favorite parts was simply sitting on the balcony for hours working on my laptop. The energy of this place is incredible. The view of the coast, the clouds moving through the mountains, the smell of plants and fresh air, and the sound of birds honestly felt therapeutic. Amalia was incredibly warm and thoughtful. At one point I casually mentioned that I love goat milk, and the next morning she personally made sure I had fresh goat milk for breakfast. Small details like this made the stay feel very personal and special. She and her assistant Lucia personally prepared breakfast for us, and both of them were extremely kind and welcoming. If you want to experience authentic Italian hospitality, traditions, conversations, and culture — this place is truly special. They happily share recommendations, local tips, and make you feel at home. Also, we highly recommend the nearby restaurant Santa Croce. It was honestly one of the best restaurants from our entire trip to Italy. The food there was absolutely incredible and felt like authentic Italian cuisine at its finest. The location of the property, while a bit far away from the center of Positano, has wonderful views of the Amalfi Coast from the balcony. The host picked us up from the bus station with a warm welcome and guided us to the accommodation. The accommodation itself was super clean and comfortable. The hosts even helped us with the bus connections around Positano and the Amalfi Coast. The stay all-in-all was just perfect! I would absolutely recommend this place!

Clean, cozy, great view and great host

Location couldn't be better, very nice helpful host, let us leave luggage after check out. A beautiful terrace for your breakfast and take out meals. There is a fridge and kettle with tea/coffee for your breakfast.

It was a great experience to stay at Panariello Palace for 5 nights. We were delighted by the lovely interior of the hotel, its daily cleaning service. The rooms were warm and spotless. Very comfortable bed. We had a free shuttle to and from the hotel and Agerola centre where there are lots of restaurants open until midnight. The staff were helpful, professional and very nice. The owners are very involved in the upkeep of the hotel and in providing various services to the guests. It was refreshing to see so much work and love put into making our stay enjoyable. I would highly recommend this place.

Beautiful hotel with private beach. Spotlessly clean, well maintained and stylish. Many room have fabulous views. The on-site restaurant is good. There are other places in the same cove to eat. Roof top bar which is open in the summer has stunning sunset views. We had a big, confusing group and the hotel front desk staff patiently solved everyone’s problems. They were great and helpful. I loved this hotel, and would definitely stay again.
