The host Rita is fantastic. Very nice person, you can see how much She loves her job. The apartment is well located, it's just at the beginning of the 'path of God'. I stayed in a studio apartment on the first floor. It's cosy, modern design but rustic at the same time. The bed is very good and the shower is quite spacious. Quite at night, in fact I slept very well. You can make your own food if you need, the kitchen is well equipped. I arrived earlier and Rita was still cleaning the apartment, but we could drop our bags and get the keys for later. I know Agerola pretty well I can guarantee that Rita is the nicest person I have never met in Agerola. I'll definitely come back, maybe for next autumn. Ps. Outside the apartment there is a lovely terrace but unfortunately due to the rain I couldn't use.

Our stay at Villa Antica Macina was one of the most unique and memorable experiences of our entire Italy trip. This is not a hotel experience - this is a true Italian home experience in the best possible way. Staying there felt almost surreal, like living above the clouds surrounded by nature, birds singing, and breathtaking Amalfi Coast views. One of my favorite parts was simply sitting on the balcony for hours working on my laptop. The energy of this place is incredible. The view of the coast, the clouds moving through the mountains, the smell of plants and fresh air, and the sound of birds honestly felt therapeutic. Amalia was incredibly warm and thoughtful. At one point I casually mentioned that I love goat milk, and the next morning she personally made sure I had fresh goat milk for breakfast. Small details like this made the stay feel very personal and special. She and her assistant Lucia personally prepared breakfast for us, and both of them were extremely kind and welcoming. If you want to experience authentic Italian hospitality, traditions, conversations, and culture — this place is truly special. They happily share recommendations, local tips, and make you feel at home. Also, we highly recommend the nearby restaurant Santa Croce. It was honestly one of the best restaurants from our entire trip to Italy. The food there was absolutely incredible and felt like authentic Italian cuisine at its finest. Lovely location, great view, nice staff at reception. Breakfast was lovely, great parking - they parked the car for us then we just called 10 mins before we needed it. Walking distance to lots of lovely restaurants. Close to the Circumves. train. Great restaurants close by (loved Franco Pizzaria)

From the arrival onwards the owners and staff were exceptional. Super friendly and helpful. The rooms have comfortable beds and the showers have a really good pressure and are hot. The view is just something else over the cliff with views of Praiano and the endless sea. The breakfast has a really good variety and is freshly made every morning. You will get a freshly made coffee of your choice. 100% would stay here again.

Friendly staff and lovely hotel. Also free shuttle service which is a plus :) The room had a nice sea view, located in a very quiet area with a nice restaurant nearby (Tico Tico) the food was delicious.
