Perfect location for relaxing holiday with family and dog! Not far from centre but completely different surrounding full of parks and greenery!

The hotel is perfectly situated, very close to St Mark's Square, and easy to access all the other great sites of Venice, fantastic views of the lagoon, vaporetto stop right outside if you need one, and you are spoilt for choice with great restaurants within easy walking distance. But what makes this hotel completely wonderful is the staff. From beginning to end everyone at this hotel just wanted us to have a wonderful time in Venice. Efficiency, willingness to help, 'can do' attitude, warm greetings and nothing too much trouble. The front desk was one of the best I have experienced anywhere in the world; they had all relevant information at their fingertips and have that rare quality of making good suggestions but combined with giving you space to make your own choices. And a special mention needs to be made of all the support staff (porter, restaurant & housekeeping); they were all incredibly attentive and courteous. In short we felt looked after from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Front desk will explain all the public transport options (vaporetto) but the hotel also has its own speedboat which you can hire. For transfer from the airport I would really recommend taking the private transfer option; it may seem expensive but it is worth it. This was our first trip to Venice but we will definitely be returning to Savoia e Jolanda. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Antigo Trovatore. The location is excellent – only about a 3-minute walk from St. Mark's Square, with all the main attractions within easy reach. There is also a small convenience store right next door, as well as plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby. The staff were lovely, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our stay. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we especially enjoyed the terrace, which I would highly recommend if available. Overall, a perfect stay with great staff, a fantastic location, and comfortable accommodation. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Venice and highly recommend it to others.

The hotel is in the middle of everything. It is surrounded by restaurants and shops. It has also a very kind and helpful staff!

Great location! Excellent position and close to the main boat station

The staff is very friendly and helpful, the location is an absolute match, if you want to be near the square and in couple of steps to San Zaccaria station, and the interior very beautiful

The breakfast is great, the location is a bit confusing at first but that is more due to a lot of streets in the city. The staff is very nice and you can leave luggage on the day of check out until you travel back home which is much appreciated.

The hotel is practical and rhe room is so spacious. The staff were lovely and so helpful. It is so central in a square that has a few restaurants and outdoor spaces for drinks. The restaurant next door was amazing. Such big surprise when we walked in. Bigger than we thought with amazing food. A little pricey but worth it. There are so many places to eat one bridge over onto the main shop street that are more budget friendly. Would stay again
