We stayed at their sister hotel in Tokyo as well and this was our favourite hotel chain during our 2 week cycling trip in Japan. Very well thought out design and details that made it comfortable and efficient for travellers. The Aeon market right next door was amazing and super convenient since it was 24hrs.

New facilities, super clean, comfortable beds, smart tv, european plugs, good room size, great location (Walking distance to dotonbori and 3 metro lines close by), soundproof walls, polite stuff, luggage storage room with combination lock, laundry room, and vending machine in the basement. Love the location. It is near dotonbori but is located in a quiet area. Kuromon Market, Namba is within walking distance.
All Mimaru hotels have a similar feel. They have everything you need. Laundry, mini kitchen (we get to cook our own food), spacious for Japan. But love that each one has a unique selling point.
This particular hotel has a board game theme. Even the vending machine has a drink guessing game. Everyday, the kids would play boardgame concierge to get a chocolate price. One can also win a boardgame. Uou can also borrow the board games and bring it to your room. They have mysteries to be solved as well.

Staff are very helpful, all can communicate well and provide good information in English. Room is clean and quiet. Bathroom is as nice as a spa. Buffet breakfast has plenty of choices for both Asian and western travellers. Excellent location, walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. Easy access to subway and train station. Highly recommend this hotel.
