I liked everything! The scale and intimação of the buillding. I know the place for 30 years, since it was the former Mandarim Oriental. I have stayed in this hotel before and only can say it did'nt loose any of is caracter. The resort wich did not exist when the hotel was built just next to the waters of the "Porto Exterior", is a superb adiction built on reclaimed land. If not the best, is sure one of the most beutiful in the territory, with its lusch tropical gardens exquisitly entertained. The lobby and the Café Bela Vista, reminding the historic hotel veranda in the buillding wich is now the residence of the portuguese consul, are also amongst the musts of this outstanding, already classic hotel.

Location is really good in the old part of Macau, close to all the historic sites. The property unique is full of history and character. It had been renovated stylishly. The room I had was in the 5th floor was spacious with high ceiling. I also joined a guided tour of the hotel which is well worth doing.

Jason at Reception arranged a free upgrade to a Premium Suite and we checked in early as the Suite was ready . Jason from Reception was also extremely helpful, and caring. And we also had a fruit basket and a Snack box for our Welcome gift from Manager Dean Wan.
The hotel location was great close to Fisherman's Wharf and the Ferry Terminal. Also there were free shuttle buses to Cotai Strip and to the Border to Zhuhai.
Chris from Concierge was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He helped us plan our daily trips around Macau.

The bay view room is awesome. Facing Macau Tower and bridges. Although hotel does not have shuttle bus, we can take free shuttle bus from MGM Macau to MGM Cotai/ferry terminal/airport. We had a wonderful stay for our wedding anniversary.

Staff were very attentive when we asked for extra things delivered. Our two bedroom suite was excellent! We had a living area as well as two bathrooms and an extra toilet. The concierge was very helpful (think his name was Jed). Our hotel was located opposite Sands casino so it was handy to hop on the casino free buses that take you to other casinos. Also public buses stop outside our hotel which was convenient.
Location: very easy walking distance to shopping and eating places.
