The Surrey Hotel is located within a 5-minute drive from the Auckland CBD. Guests can take advantage of the complimentary parking. A little Auckland gem. We came early, yet were welcomed and the staff tried to accommodate us. Even though our room wasn't ready. Did they tell us to wait? Nope. They put us in a better room right away. Date change at the last minute, so helpful and considerate. A minor issue out of control of the hotel / staff was quickly and thoughtfully taken care of. Restaurant and staff, very nice and delicious breakfast. Also, what I value the very most, the honesty !! When they didn't have to be, they were. Straight up. Thank you for that. Will stay again.
