Nestled in upper Morningside, Goble Palms Guest Lodge & Urban Retreat features an outdoor pool, an English-style pub, and a colonial rooftop terrace overlooking Durban and the Indian Ocean. We had an exceptional welcome from Vincent, who manages and represents Goble Palms with the warmth, pride, competence and dedication of an owner. The room and beds are luxuriously appointed, the bathroom spotless and the water hot. We appreciated the honesty bar and enjoyed a sumptuous breakfast with fresh ingredients. The location is quiet at night and feels very safe; a wonderful oasis very near the centre of Durban and were fortunate to experience this accommodation just a day after the devastating rains and floods in KZN. We will certainly stay here again whenever we return.

The lady(Jabu) was welcomimg and friendly. We had a peaceful and relaxing stay. Wade was also friendly and made our stay enjoyable.
