The property is beautiful and is located close to several restaurants and bars as well as the best beaches in the region while still being quiet and peaceful. The pousada is also very close to the Associação Peixe Boi, where you can have a tour of the river and see the manatees close by (not to be missed!). The owners are always around and are very helpful. As there are only 4 chalets you feel very well looked after. Breakfast was very good and there was a different regional food for us to try every day. The room was very comfortable with a good AC and bed. The mobile 4G network in the area is spotty, but the pousada's wifi was very good and the TV in the room even has Netflix, which worked perfectly. The property sits between a river (where sometimes manatees can be seen) and Tatuamunha beach, which is a short, 7 minute walk away. We only went to the beach for a quick sunset walk and as it was high tide, the stretch of sand was very small, but it looks like a lovely beach to chill at when the tide is lower.

We really liked the pool and accommodation. Each room is in its own building (bungalow) so really cute and no noise from the rooms next door! The owners have put a lot of love into creating this place. We found it comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was nice, we also had dinner there which was also tasty and they even adapted a dish to suit my tastes. There is parking if you need it. Very close to the beach, unfortunately we arrived when the tide was high so weren't able to experience it as much. It is also near to the river, we didn't see it but there is apparently a lovely sunset there. It could be a great place to hire with a group of friends / families as you could each take a room and have the pool and garden all to yourself. The owners made us feel very welcome. They even gave us some tips for our onward journey which turned out to be very good tips! I saw in other comments people thought there should be more service (e.g. someone to bring you a drink at the pool), this could be nice to have but I found that if I wanted anything everyone was very helpful (we had beers at the pool) we just did not expect this to be 24/hours as it is a small place. The place is new so these things may also change.

Extremely well located. Right in front of the natural pools people pay to get to (with a jangada tour). It's impressive to watch the tide change. The water can be a mile away or on the little stairs that gives us access to the beach. It's encroched to the river where the sunset is, absolutely beautiful. It's right where the peixe boi (manatee) live, I recommend to go see them with the Associação Peixe Boi, it's magical. Also close to the Peixe Boi Bridge where you can see the crab and the mangue. The restaurant is simply PERFECT. Cris cooks with so much flavor, one heck of a chef! One dish better than the other, impossible to choose the best one. Everything is made right there at the restaurant, including the ice-cream. Please try the peanut ice cream, OMG! I had the octopus rice, the beef jerky and yukka, the octopus with pumpkin puree, the fish, everything. 10/10. The breakfast is also perfect. Try the local breakfast, the tapioca and the cuscuz, you won't regret it. The fruit is fresh and there is decent coffee (God bless Brazilian coffee!). This is a secluded place, where you can't see other people. If you are looking for parties and loud music, this is not your place. If you want peace and quiet, reading and some exercise, this is your place.
