Everything was fine. We felt like home. The apartment was very close to the old city of Liestal, so we could walk to the centar. The apartment is very comfortable and is equipped with all the stuff you will need. Also Andreas prepared something for the youngest one, we found toys that made my child very happy. Andreas was very helpful host, he gives very precise instructions for check-in and check-out. Thanks!

The location is beautiful, right by a forest and some lovely trails and fields (perfect for dogs and humans alike). It also has a beautiful view. Staff were super friendly and flexible with us and our dog. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious (the best sorbet I ever had for dessert!). Room was extremely clean, bed and bedding super comfy. Yes, the room is stark (especially for the price), but being there feels much better than the pictures, it has a sort of calming/soothing effect and lets nature outside shine in through the many windows (we had a corner room, no balcony).

The property and owners make it extremely simple for us to check-in, have a kitchen available at all times, ask questions but also have privacy. This one was a surprise. I didn’t realize it was so far from Basel when I booked. Probably would’ve stayed closer to the city but it was an interesting experience. You’re out in the country! There’s a working farm on the property with bison. It’s off the beaten path but beautiful with hiking trails. Our room with a view was big with comfortable bedding and a thick robe for going to the shared bathrooms. Nice patio with a view and elegant dining room. We rented a car to get there.
