The view from the balcony is absolutely amazing. And believe me I have been at many exceptional places. You won’t believe how green this „Ruhrpott“ City look like if you haven’t enjoyed that view. The city park called Stadtgarten is directly adjoined an offers a very nice opportunity for strolls or relaxing. The road leading to the park and the apartment is one of the most beautiful alley I’ve ever walked through. The hosts are very friendly and obliging. I was very pleased with the service and the communication.

The location is wonderful, next to the central park, surrounded by beautiful nature all over, but close enough to downtown to go walking to have a meal, to buy groceries or to take the train at the central station. The room was very clean and super cozy. The common area is also very comfortable and inviting. And the staff is super nice! Even though I couldn't come between the check-in hours, Mrs. Stahl arranged everything so that I could come in later without inconvenient. I definitely recommend this welcoming place :)

One of the best hotels we have stayed in for a long time. As we visit relatives in Gelsenkirchen every year we have now found our favorite hotel to go to, so we will be booking with them again for our next trip. The staff were exceptionally polite and friendly and spoke very good English. As a wheelchair user all aspects of my needs were catered for ie: automatic doors. The room (junior suite) was very spacious as was the on-suite.

Breakfast area is cozy. So is the room with the fake fireplace. Everything is clean, superb. Nice big TV. Got a beer from the fridge on the house!
