Excellent location close to the historic centre with plenty of walking paths directly accessible without needing to drive, both "via verdes" (old railway lines which have no steep gradients, and also paths which go up into the hills. Interesting town. The house is great for kids. it has lots of room and interesting spaces. Even in bad weather a great holiday would be possible there.

Imagine your self in the middle of nowhere, with no people around, with birds singing and all the day around smells like fresh-cut-grass. 3. What I valued during my stay at Can Buch: the setting/location; the fresh, clean air; the quiet and tranquility except for a multitude of birdsongs, frog croaks, bubble bee hums, and sheep baaing; the farm to table meals offered 3 times/ per day (a full breakfast is included in the stay); the hiking trails that begin on the property; and the staff, who had a sense of humor, always congenial, knowledgeable about the area and the trails, and knew how to handle guests' requests ASAP. Best of all the ambiance of Can Buch engenders respectful guests.

This is a good place for people that enjoy to be away from civilization. The house is situated in a very remote location and it is was very comfortable in January, with huge windows letting in winter sun. It might be a problem in summer, with those large windows and no AC. The outside area is perfect, with a nice grill and several lounging places around the house! Also, this is a perfect place for visitors with dogs, our dog was totally happy with the large (fenced) area around the house! The nature is just outside the house - we spotted some bats and even heard an owl during the night. There are also some nature trails going just past the house, and we tried some of them. They were ok for an afternoon stroll, but there are much better trails with more magnificent views just half an hour or an hour drive away.

The hosts are fantastic! The place is magnificent! Included breakfast is super. But choose the optional dinner and you will be in Michelin-star foodheaven! The whole location is situated beautifully. It's so good, we wish we could go back again rightaway!

It was so clean and wonderfully quiet in the middle of the hills. The staff were incredibly friendly and were happy to help with any questions after a really in-depth walk round. We had a free upgrade to one of their 4 bed lodges which was greatly appreciated and so lovely inside. Would definitely recommend and come back again!!
