The accommodation was bright and stylish, and fully wheelchair accessible. It is well located with nearby free parking. The proprietors were thoughtful and helpful & they ensured everything was in place to guarantee we had a comfortable and pleasant stay. Bakio is a lovely seaside town, surrounded by stunning countryside, with great places to eat & great civic amenities. This was an ideal base for exploring the Basque Country.

We loved our stay at Villa Isabela Bakio Rooms. It's a stunning house with beautiful rooms. Our room (twin beds, shared bathroom) was extremly spacious, comfortable, and the decor had a lot of character. There was fresh fruit/tea/coffee facilities in the room, which was very welcome after a day of cycling. Everything, including the shared bathroom, was very clean. Our host was very welcoming and friendly and helped us getting our bags into the room. There was a secure place for us to keep our bicyles and an outdoor washing line to dry laundry/swim gear. I can highly recommend this property.

The location was fantastic. The local Argentinian restaurant was a brilliant and unique experience. Our host was so kind and supportive. Proximity to the beach a huge bonus. Beds very comfy - lots of room for our family of 4. Huge fridge and freezer.

I loved the fact that the hotel had a personality with great decor and style. My suite in the extension was very modern with lots of frills that were totally unexpected, and so much space. I loved being able to sit by the windows when the weather was rainy and just relax with a free cuppa & mini muffin, no bother. The staff were very friendly and very helpful, and it was great to hear the story behind the huge dining table, and the fact of the continuing family ownership when all around are modern apartments.

Lovely touches and extras are welcome additions to the luxurious and comfortable accommodation. A highlight is the amazing breakfast served up by the family - local produce and attentive hospitality - couldn’t have been better!

The location is right on the beach, the hotel has been renovated very stylishly and is very clean. The breakfast was amazing; locally sourced, fresh and organic ingredients grown and made by the owner Unai and his brother. Unai himself, was extremely friendly and welcoming to our family, he made us feel very at home there and relaxed. We will definitely be returning with our family to see Unai and his staff again soon.

Family business. Beautiful building and garden, full of character. Super friendly host, made us all feel very welcome. Happy to improvise some quick breakfast after a long walk along the coast. It's an easy 10 min walk to the beach and plenty of restaurants along the beachfront. Very family-friendly town.
