The countryside and charming environment. Very peaceful. The owner's friendliness. Suzette is exceptionally kind. The location is perfect for a holiday in Normandy, both as a couple and family and visiting places like the D-Day beaches and Mont Saint-Michel. The apartment is huge and very well-equipped. A score of 10 because it's not possible to give more!

Everything! Charming and comfortable. Good location. Amazing surroundings and living in an original palace was an experience.

The house itself is furnished rather simply, but then you do get to use the relaxation room including pool, jacuzzi, sauna and hammam for 2 hours each day AND there is a big garden with trampoline and table tennis. What more could a person ask for really? To add, the hosts are very kind, the facilities clean and a very good restaurant (La Table du Scion) is just down the road. We hope to return here one day!

the owners met us and despite the language barrier were able to communicate with us through google translate-they were super helpful and friendly the facilities were high tech with automatic lighting and sensors in the bathroom sinks next door we had the use of a private spa including hot and dry sauna , jacuzzi and swimming pool as well as a Zen garden for relaxing-only missing a few bonsai plants 40 minute drive to Mont Saint Michelle

I loved that it was a quiet and lovely location in a small town in the countryside. The hostess was very friendly and helped us by giving us tips on where to go and visit. Where to eat. She also prepared a simple but very good and fresh breakfast for us. The rooms were comfortable and cosy. It was a very great stay. It’s also quite close to a lot of activities and sights. I’d love to go again.

Handy for visiting Fougeres and its castle. Only noticed the nearby lake when we were leaving. Did not try the Pizza shop 100 metres away but it must be good as there was always a queue.
