We were welcomed with a lot of enthusiasm and caring to this beautiful country inn right on the Dordogne River. Sitting on the patio looking out over the valley was a bit of heaven! The dining room was lovely. It was a fine base to visit nearby Sarlat La Canadia and to see other ancient buildings in the Dordogne area.

The mobile home/camping van was well equipped with everything someone would want in their stay. Clean bathroom, clean toilet, a small working kitchen area, a dining area, a patio and a big space to park the car. On top of that, we really enjoyed spending hours in the swimming pool area. The staff was too kind and friendly and they were always very eager and excited to help us and talk to us. The location was beautiful in the middle of the mountains and just besides the river.

The hotel was a handsome and peaceful country chateau. Our telephone navigation got us thoroughly lost, and we were arriving three hours later than we said we would be. Madame tried to help us by telephone, and my French was not up to the task, so she came out at 9 o'clock at night to find us and lead us to the hotel--well beyond the call of duty. All the service was excellent. The breakfasts were lovely, the hotel and its surroundings were lovely. Our room was large and very comfortable--I never slept in a room with a crystal chandelier before!
