It certainly has the “wow” factor when you see it and it didn’t disappoint inside. Gorgeous, large, spacious rooms. We stayed in the attic which had its own little terrace. Very comfy beds and lovely shower room. They have great storage for your bikes etc. A nice walk to the port( slight hill getting back) with restaurants, bars etc if you don’t eat at the house. Breakfast was great and Arnaud let us take the pastries for our bike trip.

We stayed in one of their apartments on our bike ride from Bordeaux to La Rochelle. Spacious, well equipped apartment. Comfortable bed. Nice selection on the breakfast tray. The apartment is in an old flour mill which filled with lots of interesting things. We very much enjoyed our stay there. The next day, my wife fell off her bike and broke her leg. I called the B&B to find out how to call an ambulance. The husband of the couple who own the B&B drove out and helped us with communicating with the ambulance people. That was a great help as my French is very limited. He also arranged for the pompiers to take the bikes back to the B&B so the bikes were safe and could be picked up by the rental agency. We truly appreciate them going above and beyond to help us in a very difficult and stressful situation.

We had a very pleasent stay with the new owner who, being a chef, also prepared a wonderful dinner every evening. The included breakfast was extensive and cosy together with other guests. The room was neat, clean and large enough. The owner fullfilled all our needs. The location was also very good, short drive from Royan and walking distance from the gironde. Also plenty of beaches nearby (car).

What an amazing place to stay, a beautiful home and friendly atmosphere , could not do enough for you . Continental breakfast was just enough. Would highly recommend, and hopefully we will stay again ..exactly as described on booking .com
