The Floridor is a marvellous hotel with a great restaurant and a superb balcony/terrace. The room was lovely: we travelled as a family of four (two parents, two teens aged 16 and 18). We had a double room and the kids slept on bunk beds in their own adjacent space with a sliding door: this worked brilliantly (and they loved their bedside USB points and lights). Fantastic bathroom and shower!!!!! Very comfortable. A quiet, out-of-the-way location and incredibly peaceful. Nice forest views. Ate in the restaurant in the evening, out on the terrace and the food was excellent: the trout poached in Riesling was a joy. Breakfast did not disappoint either, also taken out on the terrace. A first-rate family-run restaurant that was a highlight of our trip. Memorable!

It is a very quiet place and an excellent start point for hiking and cycling trips. The biggest benefit for us was the possibility to arrive late at night. We would love to use this accommodation again sometime.

We stayed here in early September as part of a self-guided biking holiday with a group of friends. This is an exceptional & sophisticated accommodation in an elegant old home with history and grace. The staff were excellent. The home itself was stunning, and the dining room was regal & so beautiful. Breakfast was exceptional. The three course dinner was sensational, staff were attentive & service was excellent. The grounds are beautiful, serene and inviting. There is ample space & outdoor seating areas to enjoy the outside, including having coffee or tea or aperitifs. Our room was elegant, and we had the bonus of a terrace overlooking the grounds. Overall, this was an amazing place to stay at and beyond what one would expect. The ambiance of this gorgeous place and staff cannot be captured by just describing it! You have to stay here to understand its elegance.

The host was very friendly and quick to respond to any inquiry. Self check-in according to the instructions was easy. The apartment was speckless clean and tidy, and we were greeted with small personal touches. The apartment is spacious, modern, and well equipped with pretty much anything one needs for a self sustained stay. Beds are very comfortable. We enjoyed the selection of games, and spent hours on the dart board. Heating and hot water were perfect during our visit in freezing December. Location is great for exploring Alsace and the Vosges. This host clearly has the benefit and well being of her guests in mind. This is by far one of the best holiday homes we have ever been to, and we will undoubtably return to this place.

The location is in the center of the city making very easy to reach all restaurants and shops and in the same time it is very quiet. The apartment is beautifully furnished, we enjoyed staying there, it gives a good feeling of being in France.
