The owner of the place has been in touch with me from the very beginning, providing very clear instructions as to how to access the cottage and was also so kind as to provide a list of restaurant recommendations for us to choose from. The cottage had just undergon renovations and was absolutely wonderful. It was sparkling clean and had every single comfort imaginable spanning from a fully fitted kitchen, a smart tv, wi-fi, (not that you'd be watching much tv -- the island is way better to look at, if you ask me), to (and this is the reason I would given it a 11 out of 10, if I could) USB adaptors that allowed us to recharge our phones without the need for EU to UK adaptors. This is a detail we found nowhere else on our trip and we absolutely loved it. Also, tea, coffee and some cookies were in the kitchen, which were an absolute delight, especially after a long drive. The cottage was fantastic and the location was breathtaking. I would definitely stay there again.

Stunning view from this cozy little B&B. We had a loch view room (a generous & thoughtful upgrade from the hosts) that slept two people comfortably. The common area was cozy and tidy. The breakfasts were great and we appreciated a full meal before setting out for the day to explore the beautiful Isle of Skye. Convenient location, less than ten minutes into Portree. Easy self check in process. Just like the pictures. The hosts are kind and helpful.

A cozy cottage with Isle of Skye character and decor and the rural farm location was a beautiful and relaxing place to spend our days. We were surrounded by green farmland, with sheep, and rabbits and an ever changing sky. The cottage was well equipped. We would love to go back and stay for a week.

Perfect, magical, cosy. I think this IS a must in every bucket list. The food is absolutely amazing and the staff makes you feel at home. We went on a cold night and the fire was on, we had a perfect dinner and had the BEST night sleep. I Will recommend this hotel to all my loved ones

Beautiful spot with ample parking, dinner was wonderful as was breakfast. They have a cozy little bar on site with a great selection of beers. Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating.

You can really tell that lots of love has flown into every nook and cranny of this little cottage. It is welcoming and homely right from the start, and you can find everything you need: The kitchen has clearly been equiped by someone who is actually using it as well. First of all, even though the kitchen is very small, it is furnished incredibly efficient. This also means that there is room for a surprising amount of things: There is basically *every* kitchen utensil you might need. This starts with some basics that everyone has in their kitchen, but are so often forgotten in rental apartment kitchens (like e.g. a pair of scissors). Apart from that, there are also more specialized items available, like e.g. a masher, a potato peeler, a garlic press, a measuring jug, and even some kitchen scales. As if that was not enough, there is even a washing machine in the kitchen - excellent for longer trips. In the garden, you can find a clothes dryer for hanging up your wet clothes afterwards. The living room and the bedroom are also quite small. Still, the available space has been used very efficiently again. Thanks to that, you can even find quite a few books, games, and puzzles in the living room. I did not use those, as I was lucky enough to have lots of sunny days, but it is nice to have them available for rainy days. Finally, the bed is really comfortable, and I always had a good night's sleep. As it is a rather narrow double bed (probably Queen size) with one shared duvet, though, it is probably better suited to couples than friends travelling together, I guess.
