Beautiful home, lovely size yet very cosy. Easy to find and plenty of space to park. Great location for bath or Wells or even Western. Would highly recommend.

Everything..Adam and lee were amazing hosts. Restaurant Food was very good indeed. The bar was a small village bar with a wonderful friendly atmosphere. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Bed super comfortable, very clean rooms and tea coffee tray very well stocked. Fans are supplied in the rooms (so regards old comments about rooms being hot ) this was NOT an issue for us. Church Cottage had all the advantages of staying in a Landmark Trust historic property, with all the advantages of a private let. The house is utterly stunning (it looked good on the photographs but even better in person). Marion was utterly charming and very helpful indeed. The facilities were ludicrously good (a proper chef's kitchen, good bathrooms). But OHHHH the garden! 3 separate seating areas, all better than something in the best kind of country house hotel, all comfortable and secluded and slightly magical. Looked like a photo shoot, felt like winning the lottery. It was very hard to leave the garden at ALL! We had come to the area for a family wedding and were a bit shocked by costs in the area (generally- Church Cottage was very good value relative to others)- but this really is worth investing in. Unforgettable, and raising the bar for everyone else.

We stayed here for my parters 30th and our stay was amazing, the views and the house were exceptional!! The host was also amazing and so accommodating, 10/10 no complaints!
