The apartment was pristine, well equipped and charming. The village is gorgeous and quiet after the day trippers go home. There are a number of good restaurants in town, and a few small but well stocked mini marts nearby. Good hikes start in the village and the local bus system is inexpensive, reliable and comfortable (buy tickets in the village at Goulia Cafe on the main road), for outings to hike Mt. Zas/Filoti or Mousouna for the beach. Highly recommend a few days in the village to complete your Naxos experience.

A traditional beautiful old house full of charm! The hostess was very friendly and helpful. Always easy to reach! Such an interesting old house where you can wander around all of the old village roads. You feel as though you are a local!! Beautiful!!! Great location as well!

Staying at this place was such a precious experience. Huge beautiful historic house in a charming village. We would love to come back with more people. The host was very attentive and their detailed recommendation on beaches and restaurants were extesnsicve and very much appreciated. We stayed there for three nights but we wished we stayed longer. We didn't get to hike and we wished that we explored the village more. We fell in love with Naxos and we hope to go back again soon!

This apartment has excellent location: in a quiet place, but close to the center of Apiranthos, all taverns are within a five to ten minute walk. Such a wonderful view from the terrace! When the sun was rising, I really wished I were an artist. Everything in the apartments is of the highest quality: bed linen, furniture, kitchen and plumbing. Excellent quality of sleep, tactful and caring hostess.

Maria met us in the square and was super helpful the entire time. The house is right in the “heart” of it all. We loved being in the village, meeting loads of people and chatting. The house is very comfortable spread across 3 floors with a great shower. Maria also left us lots of nibbles and coffee to make it a real housewarming!
