Beautiful villa up the hill with an amazing view on Lovina and the sea. Spacious, comfortable, well decorated. Enie the housekeeper was very welcoming and arranged for us massages at the villa, a boat trip to see the dolphin (an activity I do not recommend if you don't want to chase dolphins with dozen of other boats...), offer to bring us some shopping if needed, and a great driver (July) to go around and drive us back to Canggu.

Incredibly beautiful scenery; quiet and serene setting in sharp contrast to the noise, hustle & bustle of Kuta where we stayed the day prior. The owner has a keen appreciation for beautiful artwork from Indonesia. The architectural features, especially in the restaurant, where the intricately carved wood pillars and beams from Jepara are held together, not with nails or screws, but with mortise and tenon joints. Same with the table supports. The table tops are old Balinese doors and windows with glass overlay. The best table for taking in the scenery is in the corner. The entire hotel staff paid attention to the smallest detail. Should have started and ended our stay in Indonesia here. Now we know.

The location is incredible. The service is super. Putu and Kade have cooked delicious balinese dishes for us. The manager Komang is very helpful and immediately there at the slightest problems. We had an unforgettable stay at Villa Cahaya and we will come back again.

Everything was absolutely perfect! I had a huge bungalow all for myself, the veranda is enormous and had a hammock. The garden is wonderful and gives you great privacy. The staff is amazing really. The food was delicious. Couldn't wish for more! I can't wait to book again!

We enjoyed our stay. Very friendly owners and staff. They do everything to make you feel comfortable. The cottages are very spacious and super clean. Everything has just been renovated. The location is great, overlooking the mountains and beautiful with the sunset over the pool. Nice breakfast and very good restaurant. Fresh and delicious Our son had his birthday during our stay and the staff had made a nice cake for him. If we are in Bali again we will definitely come back!

Sweet Villa Patria ruined the rest of our trip by boosting our expectations to new heights. Nothing else could compare after this stay. It was an OUTSTANDING space with a beautiful mostly saltwater infinity pool.. We adored the staff, especially Wayan who treated us like friends. Our food was amazing, highly reco the tuna steak. Beautifull location nearby silent beach: not to swim bur mainly to walk and enjoy the awesome sight of daily sunset. Not touristic; perfect way to talk to local people and learn about habits and daily life in the neighbourhood. We were received by Radna and Iluh, as if they already knew us. We felt at home straight away. Very warm welcome. The house was so clean! Huge bedrooms with beautifull sights. Iluh spent hours taking care of us: every morning a huge breakfast we could not finish. Fresh fruit, eggs, cheese and anything you desire. She informs what you want, and she takes care of shopping and cooking. Every dinner was different: we asked her to surprise us with Indonesian traditional food and she certainly did all week long. We had long conversations with her and she learned us lots of things of Balinese traditions. We are so happy we found this accomodation, we would like to recommend it to anyone who is looking for a calm place in Bali and is curious to get in touch with the local people. If we ever go back to Bali: for sure we will have no doubts about a place to stay. Perfect place to plan trips in the north of the island, lots of beautifull places to visit nearby.
