I booked the stay at Sunvalley for my parents who are both senior citizens. From the very beginning the staff were so friendly and helpful that my friends felt right at home. Going out of their way to ensure that guests feel comfortable is something that comes naturally to the staff at the hotel. Special mention to Mr. Raghav, who personally looked in to the well-being of my parents.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kachins Home, and I must say it was a delightful experience. Nestled amidst the lush greenery of the Nilgiri hills.The first thing that struck me was the stunning natural beauty that surrounds the resort. The views of the tea plantations and the rolling hills were simply breathtaking. The peaceful ambiance of the place made it an ideal retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. The accommodation at Kachins Home was cozy, comfortable and tastefully decorated, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the picturesque surroundings. The owner's attention to detail is truly commendable, as the interiors were beautifully crafted using only sustainable materials. This commitment to sustainability not only adds to the charm of the place but also ensures that guests can enjoy a cozy and comfortable stay while minimizing their environmental impact. Moreover, the common areas at the resort, such as the balcony overlooking the breathtaking views of the valley and the inviting fire pits on the front and backyard, provide the perfect setting for guests to relax and unwind. Whether enjoying a cup of tea while watching the sunset or gathering around the fire pit for some evening conversations, these spaces add to the overall charm and appeal of Kachins home.

We stayed in The Realm Resort from 7 to 9 April. Food was amazing and hospitality is 5 stars. Selva is too good. He took us to a nice spot nearby which was mesmerizing, we went to a farm nearby with him, which was growing cabbage, we ourselves picked the cabbage 🥬, that we wanted him to cook that evening. The campfire was also there every evening. The location is superb, Was not wanting to leave this place. Some travellers faced problems while driving to the resort, as Google map goes haywire in between because of loss of signal, but we did not have any such problems. There are 3 dogs who are cute. They will come and welcome you every time you show up at the main gate.

1. Great location. Everything was at walking distance from the location- Market, Lamb’s rock and Dolphin nose.. Stellar view. Well manicured gardens.. Truly a fairy’s abode.. 2. Staff- Polite staff. Got a call from Uzma, owner of the property right at airport. Made a WhatsApp group of owner, manager and staff to help with trip. Nivas, the manager had been there for us throughout starting from receiving us in rain while holding umbrella himself to bidding adieu..Quite moving. Arranged Mangostein fruits from their own gardens for us (local and quite expensive fruit)..Arranged early breakfast every day for our daily treks.. Arranging great food, reliable taxi for our excursions. Overall wonderful stay with personal touch. Made our experience memorable..

It is located very close to Sims Park and there are quite a few shops and restaurants nearby that you can visit. At RaDoSri, we liked the fact that you can select your meal from their menu and it is freshly prepared and served to you. The dining area has ample seating adjacent to their well-tended garden with a nice collection of books along with some light ambient music. The rooms are very cosy and it has all the modern amenities that you can expect from a renowned property. They even have international sockets to plug in your electronics which saves you the trouble of carrying adapters for your devices if you are an international traveller. Rani and Sridharan who own the property were on-site during our visit; would recommend you strike up a conversation with them to catch a glimpse into their 3 decades-long career in the airline industry which gives them an eye for detail and hospitality at the property. We know we enjoyed talking to them whenever they were around. We would wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone that wants to visit Coonoor and Ooty.

The incredible staff....could not do enough for us. The stunning views and the lovely big room. It's very nicely set up for privacy. Bed very big and comfortable. Also loved being able to sit at the balcony and watch the Nilgiri birds and other wild life. Great spot for trekking, riding a motorcycle around the tea plantations and winding roads . or just chilling. The hosts also make delicious homely local food which you can pre order in the afternoon.
