This was the most beautiful hotel & we were so well looked after, all the staff were fantastic & the dinner & breakfast were wonderful, such delicious chettinad food that is the speciality of the house. The old world atmosphere was enchanting & we wished we had stayed longer.

We stayed at the accommodation for three days and had a wonderful time there. We were warmly welcomed by the staff and accompanied throughout the days. The breakfast and Chettinad food was always excellent and the manager had a solution for every concern - thank you for that! In addition, we were able to talk to the owners about their proud family history and about the building in the beautiful Chettinad architecture property - where breakfast and dinner were held. A great experience and in the overall palket a clear 10 out of 10!

Beautifully restored Chettinad mansion. Rooms were very spacious with lovely period furniture. Beautiful old photographs of the owners family are displayed through the property and it adds a unique homely touch and takes us back in time. We tried the vegetarian Chettinad saapadu which was awesome. We took a nice evening walk around the village with Mr. Siva who also gave us tips for sightseeing around the region and even arranged for us to see the owners other mansion in a nearby village. The staff went out of the way to make us comfortable.
