We absolutely loved this place. Beautifully restored 17th century buildings in a unique setting. Calm, tranquil, silence except for birdsong. Lush pasture and woodland to explore. The apartment was sympathetically renovated, simply furnished, comfortable bed, well-equipped kitchen - we enjoyed cooking and eating here, and relaxing in front of the log fire. Staff very helpful and friendly. Don’t go here if you want entertainment and a buzz. Do go if you enjoy peace in a rural setting.
