Fantastic location at the back of the Palace Gardens in the very middle of the city. Great views of the valley and mountains. Very friendly and helpful host who is an excellent cook! Very helpful to pilgrims walking through Via Francigena Sud - very knowledgeable. The house itself is amazing!!

My wife and I wanted to do a last min stop in Pietramalara to visit. We booked at the last min and did not have very high expectations. We were just going to spend one night and be gone the next morning. Franco met us at the desk and actually spent some time talking to us prior to showing us our room. Since we did not know the area, he arranged for someone to escort us to a restaurant and chilled a bottle of wine that we brought. When we got back from dinner he set us up for a nice peaceful romantic evening on our own private terrace. Breakfast the next morning was perfect with fresh coffee and fruit. When we checked out he gave us a bottle of local wine and made a one night stay very memorable. The room was very clean and so was the entire property. We are grateful for his hospitality and highly recommend this little gem.

Staff took care of all our needs. They even did our laundry as we are walking the Francigena. Restaurant was only open for lunch on Sunday. But it was superb. For dinner they sent us to the Bistrot in town a few 100 meters away. And it was so good that we visited twice. Overall one of the best places we’ve stayed on the via francigena.

They were so so sooooooo kind even i can't speak italian well. And the breakfast, mountain view from the room window, everything are peaceful and good attitudes. I'm impressed about this hotel and this town! When i have a chance again, why not? worth it!

Beautiful views. Amazing sensory poetic walk through the property. The bio pool was not ready but we loved the frog symphony from there! It exceeded our expections in every way. Beautiful property and lovely staff. A special thank you to Juliette for taking us through the different wines at dinner and for being so warm and hospitable. Kudos to the chef - the food was exceptional at dinner and breakfast with wonderful local produce from the farm and very reasonably priced. We bought wine to take with is because it is so unique and wonderful.

We used Janus Casa nel Verde as a base for exploring Caserta, Naples and the Amalfi coast. The location is excellent for that. The property was clean and tidy and as per the photos. Hosts were friendly and left recommendations for local restaurants etc. which were excellent. The WiFi was a little sluggish at times but, given the location of the property, that's probably to be expected.
