The family who owned the property were extremely helpful and friendly. The location of the property was peaceful looking up to Mount Etna. The pool and facilities were brilliant, which all made for a great holiday.

We loved staying in Casa Maria, it was so authentic and the owner family are super kind, lovely and so easy going - it was a true pleasure meeting them. The terrace is fantastic, it offers incredible views over the coast and the mountains - a real gem. The house is spacious, has a lot of rooms, there is also another small balcony from the bedroom looking onto a quiet street. The kitchen has all you need and the bathroom is newly refurbished - it's a pleasure to use it compared to some other experiences we had. There was no ac, but it's easy to keep the house cool by using the window shades and making a draft between the rooms, there is also a fan. Parking is available on a nearby street. This small town is full of character and local people are so friendly. The house is located near a local church and you can often hear the church bells ringing. We had a fantastic time in Casa Maria.

Gaetano and his amazing home are a true gem. - Amazing View from the balcony - A lot of space - There's everything you need - Good Breakfast - Gaetano is simply the nicest guy and very helpful - he also gave us some advice on what to do / see in the area If you have the option you need to take Gaetano's offer to cook for you - the dinner he cooked was simply amazing and so is his self made vine.

Beautiful location on an operating organic hazelnut farm that has been within the family for generations. There is a spectacular view of both mount Etna and the Mediterranean Sea, which is very unique. The environment is serene and very soothing, with plenty of company from a posse of friendly farm animals. We found the room very authentic, comfortable, and cozy. Our experience was made very special by the lovely family who run the place. They were kind and passionate people who were generous with their time, showing us around the property and telling us about its history. We loved the homemade breakfast too. The hazelnut products were the best we’ve tasted. Thank you for the memorable experience.

The property is stunning. We rented the whole villa and therefore had the property all to ourselves. The property is spread on 3 floors, each floor has a bedroom and a bathroom and a small living space. The villa is well equiped and very comfortable and offers various spaces to relax and unwind. There are views of the Etna and sea. The outdoor area is gorgeous and children can play freely whilst still be safe within the property. The host is very sweet and she even left an easter egg and chocolates for the children upon arrival which was very much apprecaited.

The guesthouse is very well organized and managed by the hosts. Martina is the manager and she has been extremely helpful, friendly and organized to the smallest detail. She prepares herself breakfast for you and will get up at 5:30 AM to set you the breakfast before the morning flight on departure. I met her parents and they welcome you and give you a warm and caring hospitality. I feel lucky to have stayed in their pension.
