Exceptionally clean, spacious, comfortable easy living, the best thick white towels we’d had in our 2 weeks of holidaying accommodation! Close, private, cheap parking just a few metres away from the accommodation- that has to be a plus in Italy.

We had an amazing experience at Sapore de mare home during our stay. We had a hard time finding it because Google maps was not spot on so we contacted Francesco who is the property manager. He asked us to send a picture of where we were and he came to us. We should have taken a right at the Marcopolo sign and the next left. We were worried about parking but there is no problem with street parking. Plenty of room on a rare wide street. We went through the gate to the first door and saw the spectacular granite stairs. Beautiful! When we got upstairs we were shocked at how beautiful it was. Everything is new and there is great AC. There were two bedrooms, a full kitchen, sitting area with TV and great wifi, and a balcony. The bathroom was spotless and had a clothes washer. That wasn't even the best part. The best part was Francesco and his family. We saw them in town and they were just amazing. We met Francesco's parents for coffee on the day we left and had an amazing time. His parents speak Italian but knowing a little and Francesco translating was great. By the time we left, I felt like I gained a family in Calabria. I came to Calabria to see where my ancestors lived and left with new friends and family. Best trip ever!

The apartment building lies in a quiet part of Santa Domenica just a couple of minutes far from Tropea. It is close to a train station and beautiful beaches. The room we stayed in was quite spaceous, new and clean. During our stay, it got cleaned everyday. The owner/manager Francesco was very attentive and nice. He was able to provide some tips about local beaches, restaurants, etc. He was even able to provide a beach umbrella which we could borrow for a day. We enjoyed our stay there very much.

Host Sandra and her lovely house in Santa Domenica was nothing short of joy for us. Comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, spacious for us two couples, and the terrace is the jem of it all. Overlooking nice garden and sea, quiet and relaxing. Sandra was more than helpful giving us tips where to go to beach and where to eat. Whatever we needed she was just one message away. Great value for money and great experience, for sure we will visit again!
