The Rohana Estate is located in a beautiful area with amazing forests and mountains. There is a peak with 360° view on the surroundings. The view from our room was unforgettable. Rohana is a great host and advised us about the nearby attractions. The Sri Lankan meals cooked on site were delicious, we got even breakfast to-go when we went hiking prepared exactly the way we liked it. We felt very well taken care of. I had travelled to a few different places in Sri Lanka and several other countries and I can honestly say that the stay at Rohana's place was one from the top best. For nature lovers this is a perfect choice.

The most incredible view and decor you could ask for, absolutely dream-like in every way! The most exquisite taste set in front of the most beautiful view, surrounded by tea plantations. Everything was excellent, it was like a magical fairytale. I did not expect to enjoy it like that, I found the most beautiful place with amazing people. If you are looking for treatment then this is the place where you should go, it is in the forest with very nice waterfalls and with amazing accommodations. Near the complex is also the hill with the temple where you can go for a walk. I had a body massage and it was the best massage that I had, I was also in yoga class and it was also super nice. All people who I met there were so friendly and nice that I did not believe that is possible to find a place like this. The staff did me a tour around and they showed me some hidden spots like waterfalls etc. The food was delicious and for sure in the future, I will want to come back there again and I hope that I will have the chance to see them again.

The breakfast was good, and I tried their à la carte menu, which had a wide variety of options. It seems like they've really improved their menu. The location was stunning and definitely puts you in holiday mode. make sure you go to see the waterfall nearby it's an amazing experience.

We had three wonderful and peaceful days at the pepper cottage. We were lucky and the only guests in that time, the host Lucian was very helpful to organize trips according to our individual wishes. He is an honest person with an interesting story and has good connections in the village, everyone knows him. We did a hiking tour through the village and to a beautiful waterfall. The next day we went to a local weaving mill, tea plantation and fishing with local fishermen. We were never forced to buy anything, he just wanted to show us. Food was excellent and fair price. Rooms are nice and Tidy and Lucian is a very good Cook. We liked it really much.

In the nature and with the nature! They do incredible work with the local community. The food was good, they always offered me gluten-free options. And the cabin was super-clean.
