Spent 3 nights at the resort, loved the atention to detail of the rooms and facilities, comfortable beds and clean rooms. Staff were extremely attentive and the food was excellent. Shout out to Suranjan and the cook who were always friendly and really made our stay pleasant. The beach was beautiful and deserted which was exactly what we were looking for. The lagoon was great for birdwatching. Perfect place if you are looking for a quiet beach getaway.

Absolutely stunning property with the most incredible architecture with exceptional eye for detail. Beautifully maintained, extremely clean and very welcoming which is a credit to the villa staff who work hard to keep it that way. Even more outstanding was the way the staff inside the villa who made us feel like family - always an exceptional high standard of service delivered with a smile. The meals they provided for us were out of this world and every foodie’s dream. Every meal was fresh and delicious and nothing was too much for the local lady who cooked it for us. A total gem! The pool is inviting for everyone - swimmers and kids alike as it is deep enough to swim but also shallow enough to stand (for kids +6yrs). The large, beautiful garden is full of palm trees to the back and short grass to the front which is a great playground also. We would be very happy to come back in the future for a relaxing beach break, away from busy tourist resorts!

We stayed here for going to willpatu wich its a amazing national park. The room was very beautiful the second floor but not ac. We changed the room for one in the first floor with ac but it wasn't that beautiful and 10 dollars extra per night. The host it was super nice i really like him. It was a 10/10. The hotel its in between of the jungle and you can see birds and squirrels. A bit difficult to find a tuk tuk or taxi just in the street but the host always help us for find one driver. The owner a good guy, we didn't meet him but we talked with him by phone and he was super helpful There's available bikes, amazing!

Our getaway at Kalpitiya Chalets by Thilanka was incredibly peaceful and beautiful. The chalets are nestled in a calm area by Puttalam lagoon, offering breathtaking views. The private balcony, with its magical touch, made our time there perfect for peaceful moments with my wife. What sets Kalpitiya Chalets apart is not just the stunning location but also the delicious food and amazing staff, making it a truly memorable place for a relaxed retreat in Kalpitiya.

The property is truly unique, with a very homely feel. I stayed in both the Bottle House and one of the fan rooms in the main building. I loved both. The beds are massive and ludicrously comfortable. In addition, the staff are super friendly and helpful. Big smiles all round :)

It was absolutely peaceful. Which is exactly what I was looking for. The very best best thing is the staff. They absolutely spoiled me with the most delicious Sri Lankan food I have ever had. They really wanted to take care of me like I was their favorite child. The pool is gorgeous, and again so serene. I loved the fact that their two dogs were very well cared for and completely healthy. Honestly, this is not a common thing.

Good sized cabana just behind the beach. Restaurant on the beach serving very good breakfast and a wide range of excellent food for lunch or evening meals. Very nice, cheerful and helpful staff. Pool available at sister hotel 10 minutes walk away. Private dolphin watching organised by the hotel staff, straight off the hotel beach.
