It’s a short drive from Whangarei city and worth the drive, located on the water’s edge. Peaceful , clean and private The two rooms are well equipped and Alice is a wonderful host. This is not a boutique hotel, it feels like home with no distractions. Highly recommended.

Definitely the nicest motel we have stayed in NZ. Very clean and well maintained. Super comfortable bed, kitchenette had everything we needed. Kids enjoyed the pool too. We had a fabulous stay.

Easy check in process, newly renovated house, a little hard to locate as it is down a shared driveway, neighbours are nice. Has everything you need, nice furniture and styled well, bed is comfortable, tidy and clean, would highly recommend and stay again, close to town.

Perfect location looking over the Hatea river. Comfy beds and house decorated to a really high standard with. Loved the indoor/outdoor flow with the deck being easily accessible and the egg chairs on the deck were really nice to sit in overlooking the river Really easy to walk to Whangarei township and bonus that we could bring our fur baby.
