Extremely helpful and knowledgable host. He pointed out good hikes and restaurants in the area and all were outstanding. The main inn was closed for remodeling so we stayed in a cottage on the property which was very clean, comfortable beds, and fully equipped. I would highly recommend this property.

This house is really special, it's beautifully redesigned old house that combines the old and new tastefully. It looks better than the picture and feels great to be inside. You won't regret booking here, it's above and beyond any other properties I've looked at in the area!

What to stay - such a great great place to stay in right of a calm quiet beautiful village. You would feel like you are in a castle made with big stones. We were the only occupient since it was off-season and the whole "castle" was to ourselves. The lady who took care of the check in and also the morning breakfast made was so nice. One of the best place we stayed in Portugal so far (out of 8 places we stayed so far in our trip)

Our stay at Casa da escola was a fantastic surprise. We went in with no expectations and came out feeling completely relaxed and well treated. The facilities and rooms are all recent and well taken cared of, the scenery is out of a movie scene and the peaceful feeling was priceless. Not to mention the hosts that were truly exceptional and kind people. We can’t wait to go back to Casa da Escola.

Everything. Starting with location, if you are going to do treatments at Termas de São Pedro you just have to cross the street. (I went to try the upper respiratory treatments for my problems with sinus congestion and allergies and I’m really happy with the results). Balneários Rainha Dona Amélia is just around the corner. Then I have to mention and be grateful to the owner sra. Lucinda and the staff sra. Helena e sra. Graciete, I felt like I was staying at friend’s house. Thank you so much!💖. And what a beautiful house, the main living area have a fire place that is perfect to relax at the end of those chili days… Breakfast are really good. I’ll definitely go back. 😊
