The location was wonderful, with 180° wiev over the Atlantic Ocean. This modern villa is located in a very quiet area, and you have a little but well stocked supermarket with local specialties. The local staff (in our case Mr. Xavier) was very helpful, and satisfied all our requests!

Exceptionally clean indoors and out! The pool area is beautiful and private. You are quite close to a number of other properties but the screening is excellent. You have a local supermarket about 200m from the house and Calheta marina with its many restautants and a pingo doce is only a 5 min drive from the property too. We were really lucky with the weather and made the most of all the lovely outdoor furniture. There is a parking spot which belongs to the property.

The view from the back yard was amazing. There were lounge chairs and a table to enjoy meals outdoors. You could see the sea from the back yard. There was close access to a grocery store.

A wonderful house with a spectacular view of the ocean. Spacious, filled with light with a private swimming pool and large terrace, barbecue, sun loungers and everything you need. Bright and comfortable bedrooms, large living room, great equipment throughout the house. Very good location, not far from a local grocery shop (a few hundred meters away), short car ride to Cahleta, a local low-key restaurant nearby just up the hill. I highly recommend this house. Our whole family of five was delighted, the children especially enjoyed the pool. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Madeira. :)

The Hideaway is an amazing location with ocean views where you can see sunrise and sunset. It is very close to Jardim do Mar which is an incredible village right on the ocean. It is very well connect to the rest of the island, where you can get there from Funchal in 45 minutes and to the North side of the island very quickly. The house design is amazing. It is a renovated stone cottage that is now a mix of modern and traditional design. The space was very clean, there were suggestions for things to do on the island, the host was very accommodating and communicative. One of my favorite stays in Madeira!
