This was one of the finest places we’ve ever been! The staff is fantastic, the location is literally perfect! The food was wonderful. Only complaint was the beds were a little too firm for our tastes. Also for light sleepers the train coming through a couple times a night might be a problem. But all the other wonderful factors more than made up for any comfort with the beds or sound at night. We had one of the greatest time of our lives there. We absolutely recommend!!!

This stay was magical. Exceeded all expectations. The setting is beautiful, even better in real life than in photos. Breakfast, rooms, service, wines, winetastings - everything was done with a level of care that you rarely see anymore. Especial thank you goes to the little faries that cleaned our room everyday and even went the extra mile to prepare the room for sleeping - no word other than gratefull to receive such meticolous care. Will be back for sure!

Beautiful location and the owner lady was so lovely! They left us out a little treat of some snacks and a bottle of wine in the room too which was such a nice touch and actually did us for dinner which helped massively! The room and accommodation was faultless, such a lovely space and we were able to park our two motorbikes securely just outside the room. This is a perfect stay to explore the area and we would have happily stayed longer if we weren’t moving on to Porto with our trip. Highly recommend, cannot fault one bit!
