Gregor was a great host. Very attentive and helpful. Also when he brought us breakfast he told us every day an interesting story about locals and their history. The apartment has everything what you will need for your stay. Plus we enjoyed the whirlpool after long walks :) …the local food, olives oil, wine from Borut, honey, all taste delicious. We can highly recommend to spend vacation time here.

Perfect for a relaxed vacation in the countryside. The villa has recently been renovated, and offers a comfortable stay for the whole family, in a quiet hilltop area overlooking the Vipava valley. The highway is about 10min away, and the area is known to have good restaurants with locally-sourced food and wine, with the nearest one just a kilometer away. The very pleasant hosts also have a restaurant, which is about 5min away from the villa. The building itself is splendid, tastefully decorated, with many interesting details. The pool comes handy on hot summer days. Accessed through a short walk (10 meters) through the garden, there is also a lovely small playing field surrounded by the forest, offering a chance to play badminton, volleyball, and other games, or just to relax in a natural environment. Overall, we can warmly recommend Villa Katarina, and also, we plan to return here in the near future.

The appartment was cozy, stylish and very clean. The location is quite remote in a lovely little town with a nice history. Host are amazing and caring, and we can’t recomend them enough!

The room and facilities were outstanding - very luxurious, which we were not expecting for the price we paid! We did a wine tasting with Tea and loved it. Breakfast had variety and was delicious with a nice view. Highly recommend.
