This is the best place to stay in Sipi. Jovan and his girlfriend Tool make you feel at home as soon as you arrive. They will tell you all about their tribe, rituals and Sipi falls that you wanna know. Within a five minute hike and still on the same property you can go to a stunning viewpoint and with binoculars you're able to see all 3 sippi falls. In the evenings they prepared amazing food and set up a campfire just for us. We then played cards together and told each other stories. The next day their friend and partner Francis took us to a beautiful half day hike to all 3 sippi falls. He made sure that we know all the tips and tricks, told us all about the place there and took a lot of pictures. We highly recommend taking him as a guide. He knows his ways around and makes you a really good price while also telling you everything you need to know and more. If you're looking for a nice place to stay where you'll also get to know the locals and get to know their lives, then this is the place to go.

What a beautiful place to stay to enjoy the Sipi area ! We were welcomed with fresh passion fruit juice and big smiles ! The staff are amazing and very nice ! The food was soooooo good , I’ve been in Uganda for 4 weeks and the food is the best I have had ! It is traditional food with a gourmet twist and huge portions ! I read in some of the reviews that people said they could only eat there because there were no restaurants around and sometimes they didn’t like that because food is 5$ for breakfast and 10$ for lunch ( so could be expensive depending on type of traveller) , but the little town is easily accessible by walking (15/20 mins) or boda boda and we had traditional meal in the town no problem and there is other little vendors selling fruit, chapati , samosas, fruit ! But I honestly recommend to spend the money and eat there the food was insanely good ! Accommodation was very comfortable and even had our own private bathroom and shower in the little hut we stayed in ! Nowel was our guide for the 3 waterfall hike and abseiling and he was amazing ! Nowel also helped us get a taxi to Kampala which was very helpful! Also bring enough cash or be prepared to send Airtel money because we didn’t have enough and they were so nice and let us send later when we got to Kampala ! Great place to stay and very cheap for that area 10/10 recommend !!!

The view is stunning! And generally location is amazing. Imagine waking up in the morning and looking at the huge valley in front of you, drinking fresh coffee right from the coffee plantation you are surrounded by. Moreover, Kali is a great host, he organised three tours for me which were really cheap and full of authentic experience. I’ve made coffee powder by myself, I visited a local village where we bought some homemade wild honey wine and of course the best thing in Sipi - waterfalls. I won’t describe them, you must see them with your own eyes!

Staying at Home of Friends was a delightful experience. The staff were kind and accommodating, the property was beautiful, and the food was excellent. I would definitely recommend the hotel to others planning a visit to Sipi.
